Wow so timely. I rescued a rex from someone's yard July 31. The first few days were stressful because I was not prepared to host a bunny and worried about spending money in the event the owners showed up. After 36 hours I felt I could no longer wait and bought a bunch of bunny supplies and took her to the vet. Watched your litter training video and am happy to say after a few stressful days it's working very well. I have her enclosed in a bunny safe 3'x5' area and now am wondering how I can let her out because my house is not yet bunny proofed! So I am glad to see this.
@claudiakuehnl68332 жыл бұрын
Just a thought, the coverlet you show is great I've done the same, but the one linked in your descriptions, is not the same. I has a loosely woven surface. If rabbits' nails get caught in that, while jumping down they can break a leg or even their spine. Solid weave as you have on your sofa is much safer.

Dear Morgan, thank you for this lovely video! I'm expecting my baby bunny to arrive in 2 weeks, so I'm getting everything ready for her. One of the things I got for her is a hooded litter box, and I was wondering if you had issues getting used to the litter box being "hidden" or if Cinnabun instinctively recognized that her litter box was inside the lovely box you have on her own. Thanks!

We have 2 baby bunnies & hardwood floors. I am tempted by ruggable because they are washable but they aren’t natural fibers. What are your thoughts on ruggable? Also, we have the living room as the bunny room where they can free roam however, we have also have cats. When we are not home or in the living room or when they seem to need to be in their own smaller space away from cats we have them in a cage. How can we move away from not needing the cage to something that still keeps them feeling protected? We have grids in our doorways to other rooms (since they like to eat the kitty litter 🤭). They are also very good at hoping up onto the couch & one did pee on it the day after we got it! They eat houseplants & I’ve raised them up & put grids around them. I’m not loving all the grids everywhere but until we figure out other options we’ll use them to keep the bunnies safe.

I’m adopting my first free roaming house bunny in three days. I have two pieces of furniture with painted legs, square and round. Will they be a problem? Under my loveseat is just black cloth and it’s about 2 inches off the ground. Will that be safe from chewing. No wood there. My rug is man made fiber unfortunately so no jute or sisal but I do have a tough cotton mat she can claim as her own. What if I make some kind of chewing tower or will pieces of wood suffice? Please help. I’m nervous.

We are having trouble with one of our buns digging in and chewing on a corner of the seating of our couch. I love that she jumps on the couch, but hate that she destroys it. However, I will be needing the space for music again soon and unfortunately, I live with someone who doesn't want Charlie Sheen running around the house. So, my question is... How big of a deal would it be to have a second space (another room) in which to go, for when the band plays..?

My bunny doesn't really chew on fabric or woods but my rabbit does chew on anything leather or rubber and sometimes plastic Every bunny is different I recommend covering wires and hiding anything dangerous like batteries and rubber bands that could be laying around when it comes to woods and base boards see if your rabbit will have any interest in it first because my rabbit has no interest in chewing wood so I didn't have to bunny proof any of that.
