The fact I resonate with the destroyed ringlight cable makes me just nod my head and go "ah yep felt that." But I did want to thank you for one of your earlier vids of the digestive treats you use for CB. It did take me a while to find a place that sold them here in NZ but I did and my little boy gets half one with breakfast and the other half at dinner and he freaken LOOOOOOOVES them. I really wanna find the stick, but I can not find a supplier in my country which is sad cause international shipping to NZ sometimes ends up more expensive than the product.

Another cord protection hack is to buy a garden hose cut off the metal bits at each end and slice down the centre. I haven’t any rabbits chew through that, but depending on what the hose is made of you’ll need a good sharp edge to cut into it with.

Thankyou so much for all your tips and tricks, I got my girls just over a year ago and it’s been a long slow process but they are now completely free roam in the whole flat and balcony only confined to the living room if I go out. Something I have come across is correx sheets. They are huge non toxic waterproof sheets that you can cut and fold however you need. I’ve even been able to make a boarder around my bed. I managed to get 5 for £27. Game changer 🥰

ONE OF THESE TIPS IS DANGEROUS, DO NOT DO IT. The choice with the electric cords in the basket seems pretty reckless and unsafe to me, since there's no lid/top cover. Bunnies LOVE cords, they are like magnets to them. And there's so many cords sticking out of that thing, and only a few are covered. To my curious bunny it would be a neon sign - she would inevitably wanna jump in there at some point. And it's such a low basket, too. A bunny can practically reach uncovered cords, just standing on hindlegs. My rabbit has a digging box, so she's used to jumping up and into an open, tall-ish box, she knows it's where the fun is. I would never leave her unsupervised in a room like that, watching that was terrifying to me. Damage from chewing electric cords is one of the most common causes for bunnies going to the vet. At best it leaves burns in their mouths, making it difficult and painful to eat, possibly leading to GI-stasis. GI stasis can kill a rabbit if you don't get them to a vet within 24-hours, pain alone can lead to death. They can develop seizures, fluid in the lungs, cardiac issues, etc. At worst they just die immediately from the electrocution. They are not very sturdy, especially their hearts. Please, please, please: do not do this, that tip is neither safe or bunny proof. Worst part is there's an incredibly easy fix. Just use a basket/box with a lid and you're golden, preferably one made from material your rabbit won't like chewing their way through.
