I’m so glad you did this video. I’ve been using this for the same amount of time as you on both brows and lashes. I’m having same redness and irritation around my eyes. I also thought it was my eye cream. Around day 60 I went to just once a day. Really thank you so much for bringing this to my attention! 🙏🏻❤️

I'm glad this video was made. I went through the cimment section and seeing most of their eyes being compromised bc of this serum...I hesitate to use it on my eyes(only used once). I will just use it on my brows.

I can't believe it! My vision has been blurry and my eyes very red. I was watching tv and my vision again was blurry, I thought it was my tv and then I thought I need my eyes checked. I bought 3 tubes of this because I have loved the Ordinary products. I am sooooo glad to watch this video and to know other people have had similar experiences. Beware of prostaglandin based eyelash serums. They also pose health risks, arguably worse risks than any peptide based eyelash serum. The prostaglandins cause fat atrophy (sagging, drooping eyelids and hollows under the eye) and darkening of the skin around the eye

Revitalash is worst! The main ingredient absorbs all fat around the eye area, you'll end up with sunken eyes, wrinkles and a tired look.

UK Lash is the serum that gave me dramatic results in about 3 months, recommended it to all my friends. I can't use it anymore as I developed some sort of reaction on my eyelids after about 7 months of using it, which I didn't have for the first few months of using it, but I think that's just me as I have a lot of allergies and reactions in general, I still would recommend the serum as if I could tolerate it I would probably use it non stop

So what do we use instead? I used Rodan & Fields Lash Boost for 6 yrs and liked it but switched to the Ordinary because R&F was over $100 a tube and just couldn’t justify it anymore!

Thank you for your honesty. I thought I was doing it wrong when I felt some irritation on my eyes, too. I didn't want to risk it so I stopped using it on my lashes and just used it on my brows. I think my brows look fuller than before. Been using it once a day for more than two months now. I can't wait to see your results whether it's the same for you.💕

Hun🤗 Not sure I noticed redness or dryness but now that you mentioned it I bet I will think I have same symptoms ☺️maybe eyes heavy … I will stop using it and pay attention if anything changes into better . Hmmm I guess I am glad it was out of stock when I places my Deciem sale order 😀

Omg! I’ve been using this serum for quite a few months and I’ve also been experiencing the eye heaviness! I had no idea this is what was causing it. It’s so strange. I haven’t had any redness or irritation but I’ve definitely noticed my eyes feeling heavier and more tired. Thanks for sharing. I’m going to stop using it.

The Ordinary do not claim this serum makes lashes grow. Its claim is to make lashes more conditioned. They also recommended to stop using if any irritation. Thank you for your review.

How your lashes look when you take the pictures depemds as well on where the lash cycle is and you cant predict that meaning that sometimes they might look better or worse but it doesnt mean the serum does not work it just means you might be comparing the growing stage with the shedding stage

I used it for 6 weeks and also stopped. I was careful with using it sparingly but it really caused me a lot of eye irritation and blurred vision. Also I did see some growth in the length but not with anymore fullness. My lashes got very squiggly and dry growing in weird directions which I hated.

Thank you for this video! I was applying it twice a day like you and started noticing it was affecting my monthly lenses. They were dry, blurry and tearing in half after 2 weeks… I blamed my eye doctor for selling me defective lenses LOL!!! I was also getting the heavy eyes. Will finish it on my brows too but they too were getting itchy 😖😖

Ladies- pure castor oil on your lashes every night does wonders!! No swelling , heaviness or allergic reaction My eyes go red/purple, my eyelids swell up and my eyeballs get dry, itchy and irritated EVERY time I try a lash serum!! I’ve tried well over a dozen. Mixing pure castor oil with a tiny bit of pure vitamin e oil (can cause irritation on eyes if you use too much) and apply to brows and lashes every night!! If you do have sensitive eyes like I do- just be careful with the application to your lashes. If you put too much and it gets in your eyes- it WONT DAMAGE YOUR EYES! But it might irritate them or make your vision blurry because you got oil on your eyeball lol but water flushes it right out And it’s way cheaper/safer than any professional serum!

Hello Miss Ash….I’m a fairly new subscriber from the Westcoast of BC. I very much enjoy your channel and I’ve been using this eyelash/brow serum too. I am almost finished my first tube and to be honest not really noticing much difference in my eyelashes. Maybe ever so slightly in my brows. I’m fortunate to not have experienced any irritation as of yet. I ordered a second tube from Sephora during their sale and if I don’t see any difference after finishing this new tube then I’m going to stop using it. 😊🇨🇦

I just started using it and I am experiencing the heavy feeling and a funny tingling with a bit of cooling effect I am using it 2x day but the biggest thing I notice is that my eyes do feel heavy and fatigued. I don't want to give up on it just yet perhaps I will only use it once a day and see how it goes.

It's such a minor mistake Ashley. We all have done this. I'm glad you did this update bc I was curious what you thought. I bought their hair peptide growth serum & I had an allergic reaction. I wonder if there is a similar ingredient in this & the lash serum that may be causing the irritation.

I didn't use it on my lashes, but I did finish an entire tube on my brows, and my brows are worse now than before I used the serum! I have two bald areas in both my brows, in the same area. Both the sparse spots are in the inner part of my brows, as they arch down towards the inner corner of my eyes. 😡 I'm so mad about it. I didn't have much brow hair to begin with, now I have to really scrub my eyebrow pencil to color in those places. I'm 48 so I doubt that hair is going to grow back at this point. I wouldn't recommend that serum to anyone

I was using this on my eyebrows and I noticed that they were getting sparse, thin with small gaps like you mentioned. I stopped using the serum about 3/4months ago and my eyebrows are thick and full like when I was in twenties. I'm happy but don't get why this happened after I stopped using. Very odd.

I find it fascinating that in the last update video there were nothing but glowing reviews from the majority of commenters. I also watched a lot of other videos people have made and never heard any negative comments just varying degrees of effectiveness. Girl accidents happen all the time and nobody should shame u for a mistake that is innocent it's not like ur getting anything for showing to befores I mean it doesn't help the product by showing the same photo that doesn't show results. So If people were smart they would realize that it doesn't do anything for u or the company. Of course we want results and 2 before doesn't show it or help u or the company so it's not like ur being none truthful I mean if u showed a before and then u grande or some prostaglandin lash serum instead of the ordinary that would be not truthful. So people need to think before they think to point out hey it's the same photo u may have uploaded the wrong pic is one this but trying to say ur being dishonest is a different thing. I feel ur truthfully and not just trying to sell products u want the best for u and us and not want us to waste money on crap. ;)

@@jarszvis8085 Beware. It worked on my brows but the hairs are unruly and mostly needed to be plucked. And my eyelashes fell out in areas. Notice no one has reviewed this product in a long time. Just use castor oil.
