The greatest theologian, pastor, preacher of the last 100 years. He pastored our congregation for almost 8 years. He is also the most Godly man I have ever met. His life and walk always matched his words. What a great blessing. Thank God Almighty for him.

I have only recently 'discovered' him after 7 years in the prosperity gospel. I read RCs Holiness of God and started watching him online, then John MacArthur and John Piper. I've found the one true Gospel, one true God, and the true Biblical Jesus. Sinclair has an aura about him somehow... very Godly man. Love his sermon 'This Is My Fathers World.' You were Blessed to have him as your pastor.

Deuteronomy 32:1-4 "Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he."

whilst on the topic of Calvin, velcro tape and catechism when talking about doctrine - around min 52 - this is an AI response from which we can learn: John Calvin, a key figure in the Protestant Reformation, placed great importance on catechism as an essential tool for teaching and preserving Christian doctrine. In Calvin’s view, catechism served several key purposes: 1. **Transmission of Doctrine**: Calvin saw catechism as a structured way to impart foundational Christian beliefs to both the young and the unlearned. It ensured that everyone in the church, regardless of education level, could understand and embrace the core tenets of the faith. By providing a question-and-answer format, catechism made theological ideas more accessible. 2. **Spiritual Growth**: For Calvin, catechism was not just about learning abstract theology; it was about fostering genuine spiritual growth. He believed that a clear understanding of doctrine would deepen faith, shape a person’s worldview, and guide them in Christian living. 3. **Safeguard Against Error**: During the Reformation, Calvin sought to reform the church by returning to the teachings of Scripture. He viewed catechism as a way to guard against doctrinal errors and superstitions that had crept into the church. By instilling sound doctrine, the catechism protected the integrity of the faith. 4. **Covenant Community**: Calvin emphasized the importance of catechism in establishing a unified community of believers. In his view, the whole church needed to be grounded in the same understanding of faith, which helped maintain doctrinal unity and fellowship among Christians. Calvin even wrote his own catechism, such as the *Genevan Catechism* of 1541, which was used to teach children and new converts the essential truths of Christianity, reflecting his conviction that catechism was vital to the health and future of the church. >>>and if you think that your circumstances make it difficult to proclaim the gospel, a few AI thoughts:
