He could even start off by saying "Hi, im Christopher Ripley, the President of the Sinclair Broadcast Group who are the owners of this station and I have an important announcement for all viewers watching," Then he'd do the speech (albeit a bit tweaked so he's speaking as the president of sinclair, not as a news reporter.) and it would come off more honestly as its spoken by the company head speaking for the company and its goals for the present and future. Once done with the recording just send copies to the stations and have all of them play it at one time so everyone sees it. He doesn't do that though, and instead just has sockpuppets spew out his words and it comes off as manipulative and sneaky. So its unconvincing.

It is happening everywhere, always has been.. my grandparents used to scrutinize the news all the time and say things like I don't believe that... What's happened is that there are more easily manipulated people that believe everything presented to them because schools teach kids to be quiet and don't argue. We need to teach kids to say no and challenge when they disagree, to question everything.. try to explain that there reason people who landed in America regularly fought with and wiped out the American Indians was because many American Indian tribes constantly raped and horribly murdered tortured and kidnapped people's children and wives.. it wasn't minor. It's wasn't provoked. The error was every Indian became a target and not the tribes that did it because there was no practical way to tell the tribe that horribly murdered your family and kidnapped your prepubescent daughter from the ones that didn't.. everyone gets mad and runs around like you set their hair on fire. Reality doesn't care if you agree with it. It is a great disservice to settlers to think they ran around hating american Indians just because.. it wasn't just because. You'd be pretty hate filled if after coming back from gathering firewood you found your mother was slaughtered, your wife was raped and you daughter kidnapped. However the news doesn't want to remind you of that they want to make you angry about injustice in any way possible. From telling you the dali lama frenched kissed a kid (he didn't tongue sticking out is a tibetan cultural norm, the now blur the image so people think they actually frenched kissed). It's a never ending cycle of trying to get you upset about nothing by deceiving you.
