In Pakistan punjab a similar roti is made adding fresh chopped "methi" called "Missi Roti" in winters, fresh garlic shoots are also added.

I had only heard the name, but today I saw how Koki is prepared. It is much like the Maharashtrian Panagi or Zapata, but this has more flavor and, of course, Ghee... lots of it. I am making it tonight. Yes, I also watch Kanak's channel and regularly comment on her clips. Great job! Nice to see both of you together. And, thanks for not speaking Hinglish. Hi kanank very happy to see you showing our favourite Sindhi breakfast Koki. I liked you way all is very good. I will give you 1 or 2 tips that will be sone pe suhaga. You should make dough little more hard. Then make roundels and bake for 2mins on slow gas after that belafao and give cuts very nicely it will be super duper dear. Thanks for begin with us. Try Koki with taryala aaloo, tastes divine. In fact, you should do an episode on sindhi taryal aaloo which is fried potatoes using just salt, red chillis & turmeric. Simple but the best tasting aaloo recipe.
