She's full of integrity. I have always had so much respect for her. When she said that her goal was ( I'm summing it up this is not exact words but pretty close) To get across the board ( game board) without compromising her contract with the Lord. She said that the music industry is extremely hard to uphold your contract to the Lord. We all know she was absolutely right about that.

These KZbin videos do not really capture how powerful these songs were when you listened to them at the time they were released, in your dorm room, at full volume, at 18 years old. It was a religious experience. Sinead captured everything about what it felt like to be her age, my age, our age, at that time in the world. The anger, the love, the desperation, the sexuality, the hope, and the hopelessness. All of it. I've never experienced anything like that since.

I'm glad Norwegian blue explained it how elegantly she is as I simply couldn't. I knew absolutely nothing about this wonder woman but there's a lot to take in. With respect, there is a famous monastery here in Gifford east Lothian (Nunraw) I'm certain she would have had the perfect solitude and work experience if she stayed a few days for her own peace and mind , quite a few people visited for many reasons. Stay strong wherever you land Angel lady.❤❤❤

This song is so much sadder now that I know what it’s about. I always thought it was about a woman who lost children due to war or the famine. When I found out it was written about 3 stillborn children Sinéad had, every word got sharper, the pain, anger, and complex grief, more apparent, and the song still somehow became more beautiful. Sinéad has gone through some terrible shit that would break down the strongest of men. She was physically and spiritually abused. She spoke out against clerical sexual abuse decades before anyone else did, and got even more abuse for doing so. Bless you now and forever Sinéad, we love you, be strong, better days are ahead.

Until Sinead passed, I had not realised quite how petite she was. Neither had I realised quite how pretty she was, and she was very pretty. Her eyes in particular. Finally, I also had not realised what a bad childhood she had, or how often she referenced suicide. All this is recurring as you watch back over the various interviews and so on we can now see on KZbin. What a terrible shame that such a talented and lovely human being should be so tormented. I hope she finds some peace now. Her soul deserves it. RIP.

Just over the past few days I have been able to watch or sing any of her videos or songs. I find it still difficult to mention her. It's a deep seeded loss yet again...The tragedy is while she was screaming for help and justice NO ONE listened... Very few of us heard her but our voices got smaller, our hearts beat slower, and while our minds are consumed the absence of love for one another drowns out the human compassion so many of us crave. She was that human with compassion...she was once in a lifetime voice that was warning us of so many unjust things going on and she paid horribly for her honesty courage and her losses her absence her death should be more than just another memory.. I miss and love you sweet sister, wish we could go for a long horse back ride and relax on the shore while you sing to the sea. You are forever sadly bravely missed. Maybe exactly this "beautiful child" was triggering something in the mother - certain people with personality problems (which Sinead then sadly inherited, but in a different manner) cannot bear facing a power they themselves obviously seem to miss, so they do everything to destroy them. This is an underlying pattern of many abusive situations. Its all a game of power and not losing ones status. Poor Sinead.

Simply amazing always... I'd find comfort in her songs before I went to bed at night... alone, having uprooted to California to pursue my dreams. Knew no one.. but her songs truly brought a sense of pain and love at the same time, RIP artist.
