Sinead O'Connor official bio:
Having left the stage four years ago on a journey of self-renewal, Sinead O’Connor returns to the stage; importantly, to the international stage, beginning with a string of select US dates to what promises to be an exciting 2020, seeing Sinead finally return to North America.
Upon announcement of her Irish tour dates for October 2019, so passionate and enthusiastic was the response that tickets were sold out within an hour. Following her appearance on Ireland’s premier talk show, “The Late Late Show” on the 6th of September and the subsequent global viral reaction, demand to see Sinead O’Connor live became overwhelming and so it’s with great pleasure we can announce new US Tour dates, her first for almost six years.
An artist beyond comparison - unique, uncompromising, a pioneer, a visionary are just some of the descriptions that might only touch the surface of Sinead O’Connor. Embodying a voice with beauty and innocence, a spirit part punk, part mystic with a combined fearlessness and gentle authenticity. This voice as Sinead’s unique expression would be echoed in the voices of other artists who she would inspire who came after.
Chart topping singles, hit albums, numerous awards an array of collaborations later and Sinead’s spiritual journey would lead her through a turbulent, troubled and restless existence to find solace in Islam.
This year marks the return of Sinead O’Connor and a new beginning that will see Sinead bring out new music and tour the world once again as one of the true and original living greats of our time.

Back Where You Belong lyrics:
Oh it's hard to be a boy
When all the men have lost their joy
And they can't find the ones they left behind
Harder still to think of being a man
In this world of no lessons or love
It's only war that men be thinking of
Should you stay
Or should you come down with me?
Is that the question
You are asking of me?
And do you think that you can take the answer?
As it turns, you have to wear life well
Come down with me
Come down
When you need me
But for now I want you
To be happy
Sometimes life does things to you
That will hurt you and confuse you
But when you're look behind
You're sure to find
I am with you though I can't
Come with you
I am in you and I'm
Always part of you
And all you ever have to do
To bring me to you
Is come down with me
Come down
When you need me
But for now I want you
To be happy
So you must go back home
That's where you belong
You must go back home
You must go back home
That's where you belong
You must go back home
And I can't come along...
