Sinead (pronounced Shinaid) O'Connor was an incredible human who stood up for everyone, now the people that treated her like crap are acting like her biggest supporters, shocking. Thought I should add that she took her life as her son took his life and she found life unbearable with him not in this life. Also, feel I should add that this song for Sinead was about the lack of love her mum gave to her, it has nothing to do with a guy or a sexual relationship with a guy the entire song is about how her mum left her.

Be careful digging into her life. She literally had the shit kicked out of her by her mother and her soul kicked out of her by the Catholic church. Yet, she retained her faith. the music establishment continued the abuse of her. Her mental state, what was left of it, continued to deteriorate. She continued to champion her causes, and made beautiful music up until the end.

Worship God, not celebrities who inflict abuse to their not-so-favorite kids. “Nothing Compares” to her son who killed himself (I wonder why he killed himself). She couldn’t go on without him, but she didn’t mind letting her daughter or other kids know who she loved the most! “He is the only one who loved me unconditionally.” Ouch!
