She is like no other. I saw her right before quarantine, and it was a calmer performance, but, when she was young, she had a lot going on and was very intense with her performances. You should try a live performance of “Troy”. It’s a song she wrote as a teenager and is a fan favorite.

RIP precious Angel . I love her version of this song it is more heartfelt especially because she was pouring out her feeling toward her abusive mom after she passed away in a car accident when Sinéad was a young. What sucks is that her dad turned out to also abuse her . This is why she was a strong voice and went after Child Abusers😢🦋❤

Incredible singer and songwriter (this song penned by Prince). She got even better the next few years after this performance. A lot of incredible songs and albums worth exploring. She’s also uniquely skilled at covering others’ songs and arguably makes them better, a prime example would be her version of Elton John’s Sacrifice. Huge Sinead fan, thank you for your reaction. :)

It was this concert of great people from all over the world from Amnesty International in the early 90s, Sting, BSB, etc., for the recovery of democracy and human rights and the end of the culture of death and torture of the dictatorship and Pinochet's missing inmates in Chile. RIP Sinead, beautiful and tormented woman by religion, and she was always an advanced and warrior woman.

That concert was 1990. And it was typical of her live performances. Very little costuming or production, no choreography. Barefoot. She’s a jeans and t-shirt rock and roll artist, with punk beginnings. With Sinead, it’s ALL about the emotions she reveals. Often with messages in her lyrics for social justice. (Check out Black Boys on Mopeds from 1992). She’s recorded albums of classic big band songs, traditional Irish songs, religious songs, and even reggae/Rastafarian influenced songs. She’s very versatile and just one of the most beautiful people on the planet, inside and out.

Do a video on the official video too. It was recorded in 1990 and written by Prince. Her name is pronounced "Shin aid", she is Irish and died in July 2023. Her dress was a statement of no conformity. She wrote a book too. Great artist with a great voice.

Yes, she normally performed this way. She put all her emotions into her songs. She sung live better than the recording version. 90 percent of her songs was like her biography. The long drawn out notes with a little bit of yodel and the going from soft to loud, low to high on notes was her signature.

Thats a studio version. he did it amazingly. But this is live, on a cold night, half way around the world, no auto tune, barely any sound enhancing. Sinead has her own way of doing things, and it was ground breaking for the time. She was true punk without even knowing she was more punk than most punk bands, who were just posing most of the time. this was just a good song she wanted to sing.
