Aun cuando digo no se nada de musicapero siempre me ha gustado y la disfruto a los 12 años mi favorito era. Chopin despues Bethoven sus Sinfonias todas bellas pero mi favorita la 6a. Llamada ttambien Pastoral ahora he descubierto bastantes nuevas obras parami Gracias a las benditas redes .

I love how the conductor allows the oboe to shine throughout the playing of the main theme of the 2nd movement, and not overmodulating the strings to drown out or compete with the oboe, and the way he played it was as good as any I have ever heard, right tempo and sound. That movement's main theme is one of the most beautiful slow movements in the catalogue of symphonies and I love to hear it played a certain way, though others' taste may differ.

I have recently been exposed to the Sinfonica de Gaicia and have grown to greatly appreciate them. This is my first exposure, to my knowledge, of Maestro Inbal, but I can assure you, it will not be my last. This is one of the best performances of Brahms First I can recall. At first, I was put off by Maestro Inbal's singing along, but that was fleeting, for it demonstrated his passion for the music and the performance. Bravo!

Majestätische Aufführung dieser perfekt konstruierten Sinfonie mit seidigen Töne aller Streicher, brillanten Töne aller Metallbläser und, vor allem, milden Töne aller Holzbläser. Der erfahrene Maestro dirigiert das perfekt trainierte Orchester im gut phrasierten Tempo mit möglichst effektiver Dynamik ohne überflüssige Agogik. Echt bewundernswert!

If you like Mahler, then you may want to listen to this orchestra's rendition of his 6th symphony, which is notoriously difficult for the orchestra. It is sensational.

The more performances by this Orchestra I hear, the more impressed I am. Thanks to the wonder of the internet and KZbin I am exposed to more and more fabulous performances such as this. I have read that Brahms waited for years before he was secure enough to write his first symphony. I think the wait was worth it. This and the three symphonies to follow are works of pure genius., not to mention all his other works from his liebeslied, waltzes, requiem, and mesmerizing piano works. And I agree with other commenters... The intensity and the smiles from the players is so revealing how much they love this music. And I for one still tear up during the fourth movement. And I see I am not alone. Did you see the man in the audience wiping the tears from his eyes 46:50? That is what great music and do.

This is my nominee for best underrated orchestra. Apparently, Galicia is also an underrated area of Europe with nearly perfect climate, beaches, mountains, great food, and this magnificent ensemble.

Because we are only 300000 people in La Coruña ( They play in Palacio de la ópera) , and the relationship between salary and ticket cost is high. Besides, there is no much people loving clasical music in my town. In general, we listen more Jazz music and Rock.

Siento discrepar. Soy un gran amante de la 1 de Brahms. Tengo unas 20 versiones. A Inbal lo vi en Londres en los Proms con una 3 de Mahler nada menos que con la Concertgebouw (mi orquesta favorita). Tempi rápidos, intensidad pero sin profundidad, y la orquesta demuestra sus limitaciones. Toca con ganas, es cierto, y el director también. Hoy he encontrado una 1 de Brahms estupenda que añadir a mis favoritas: NDR Elbphilharmonie con Christoph Von Dohnányi. La recomiendo.
