A day out with Charlotte Greenwood was a day without depression, worry, paranoia, and the fear of coloring outside the lines. You couldn't ask for anything more; even though somewhere in a small corner of your mind something keeps telling you to ask you don't know what. Relax, this is a simple exercise in just letting go P

The movie was intended to be a gesture of good will and respect for Argentina, however America was somewhat naive..in that Argentina viewed it as a silly attempt to mimic their culture...in some ways insulting. I'm sure Americans enjoyed the performances of such greats as Charlotte Greenwood and younger up and coming ones like Bette Grable. . Carmen Miranda's popularity was soring at this time
