Sing your baby to sleep--dream baby dream, a pentatonic lullaby.
Here's a sweet little lullaby to sing to your little ones. Feel free to make up your own tune if you want. This lullaby is from the book "Clump a dump and Snickle Snack" a fun little book of pentatonic songs.
Here are the words.
Dream, baby, dream, two trees stand by a stream,
The one has little stars that shine,
The other carries moonbeams fine.
The wind comes whistling in the night,
He shakes the trees both left and right.
The moonbeam tree stands still alone
As though the wind had never blown.
The tree with stars, oh, come and look,
Two stars fell into the brook.
Some fishes hurry round
And swallow those stars right down.
And if no stars had fallen in,
Their scales wouldn't shine like polished tin.
Dream, baby dream, two trees stand by a stream,
The one has stars that shine,
The other carries moonbeams fine.
Dream, baby, dream,
dream, baby, dream.
I'll be sharing some more of my favorite lullabies in coming weeks. I hope you enjoy this one. It's a favorite of mine!
Thanks for listening!
xoxo
