I'll be making this journey on my birthday in September. I've been to Singapore before but that was with Gulf Air, this will be my first Singapore Airlines flight and my single longest flight at around 13 hours, in economy, I might upgrade it to premium economy just for the extra comfort.

I've been on Emirates A380 12 times all in economy between Melbourne-Dubai-London and the food is very tasty. The best economy in my opinion is on Emirates' A380

I’m looking at options for flying to Perth at the moment and this route is one of them. Was your flight quite busy? I know it’s all down to a bit of luck too but I’m hoping to find a route that is on the quieter side so more chance of getting an extra empty seat.

Yeah this flight was busy for sure. Flights from Heathrow to Singapore in the morning are always very busy. Luckily however, I had an empty seat next to me. :) Have you considered London to Perth direct with Qantas? It’s significantly longer but you get to your destination quicker.

7:43 Lee I think that was Nasi Lemak, a traditional Malaysian dish with coconut rice and sambal. You said that the meal served was rather disappointing, could you specify how it was bad?

Hi! I’m Malaysian so I know what Nasi Lemak is. That was definitely not Nasi Lemak. It was disappointing because the green beans were served with this weird mush on top, it was like gelatine that didn’t taste of anything. The carrots were super hard, and the rise was crunchy and crispy. The noodles weee solid, and also crispy. Both dishes did not settle well after the flight.

you rated legroom 10/10 and said amazing because you got that 42K seat which has extra legroom. This doesn't represent the whole economy class, Just move to a seat behind and you will rate differently.

That specific seat is 10/10 because of the legroom yes. This video is based on this seat hence the “best economy seat” in the tote. If I moved behind me I would have probably rated differently because it has a different legroom space :)

It's sad to see that becos of cost cutting measures SQ has taken off the salads from the meals and also biscuits and cheese. If you guys think that these meals you got on this flight is awesome then ok but it used to be alot more. Also they have taken away the classy menus too and becos of COVID they have taken away the hot towels. Sad indeed that our economy meals have been downgraded to just like the other airlines.

was the immigration process easy? And what types of document was required of you to present prior to boarding and in the immigration?

Very smooth! Different documents are required to enter different countries due to their differing border laws.. Our final destination called for : Negative PCR results from a test taken 48 hours before departure, Double Vaccination records, Passport, Hotel confirmation, A document confirming a PCR booking for our third day after arrival , Travel Insurance, A QR code issued by the country’s track and trace app , Documents confirming flight bookings for the whole return trip, Zee (my sister) needed to complete a declaration form AND confirm her legal guardianship to me before we even flew since I’m a minor and lastly our Visas and PCR test results which she purchased on-arrival. To make everything super efficient, she just kept it in files we handed over to the officers to flick through… after re-reading it all I see how long the list actually is, haha!

@@LeeAviation yeah, it's pretty complicated, but once you run through it. It seems all right. I have ran through the checklist and are constantly watching for current status, news and changes to the immigration process. It's definitely a bit nerve wrecking and I just wish it'll be smooth for June, when I am going to travel to see my fiancé who are a PR SC and I think it will be, as it all. As of yet, appears to be all fit.
