The Singapore Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 is set to be a spectacular event, running from 30 August to 2 October 2024. This year’s theme, “Celebrating Mid-Autumn Across Generations,” highlights the evolution of festive customs across three generations, showcasing Singapore’s multiculturalism, enduring family bonds, cultural heritage, and communal joy.
Key Highlights:
Street Light-Up: The streets of Chinatown will be adorned with dazzling lights daily from 7 PM till midnight.
Festive Fair: Located in front of People’s Park Complex, the fair will offer a variety of stalls selling festive goods and delicious treats.
Weekend Stage Performances: Enjoy captivating performances at Kreta Ayer Square every weekend.
Lantern Walk and Lantern Riddles: On 14 September, join the Lantern Walk and participate in the Lantern Riddles for an interactive and engaging experience.
The festival aims to foster unity among Singaporean families and international visitors while celebrating the rich heritage of Chinese culture in a night filled with tradition, joy, and unity.
