you managed to get a good vantage overlooking Raffles Boulevard which is the main overtaking zone in F1 using the drag reduction system (DRS). this year, Singapore has an additional DRS zone located directly along Raffles Avenue after the removal of the floating stadium for the NS Square project. the other DRS zones in Singapore are located along the Esplanade Bridge and the main pit straight. not far from where you viewed is the clocking point for Sector 1 located just outside Suntec towards the War Memorial.

They were really fast, I can hardly keep up with my camera, and it was just the practice round...I found this by chance...think it will be really crowded at this spot when now lot of people know about it. and not sure it will be block off on the final day or not...😩

I vaguely remember this was a vantage point pre-covid and then they blocked it off subsequently. That was just before covid. Maybe after covid they forgot 😜 used to work around that area and go soak in F1 atmosphere after work

Think they will eventually block it off...when it gets too crowded and become dangerous there...I able to find some other spot to filmed the race scene as like many other KZbinrs we use a really long selfie stick that go beyond the barricade high. 😅 Will see how it goes for the Final race day.
