Welcome to Singapore's only live turtle and tortoise museum, located at ORTO. It's a great spot for a family outing, but it was once close to eviction -- which thankfully didn't happen because it caught PM Lee's attention.

I had been there as a young 9 year old kid back in 2008 when this live meusem use to be in Chinese Garden in jurong east, it was very close to my residential place, now im 22years old and It just hit me after seeing a bunch of turtles yesterday that "what happened to this place today?" So I searched the internet and couldnt understand why its showing ORTO. now after the owner said they moved their place, things got clearer. The Chinese Garden time was absolute legendary. I guess i will visit their new place in ORTO now the next time i visit Singapore.

Hey, I've been to that Orto place quite a few times to eat the 80¢ boat noodles. Didn't know there is a Turtle Museum. Grrrrrrrrrreat job - keep going!

unfortunately due to space constraints. animals always need adequate space but it's hard to find that in singapore. i believe the chinese gardens was more spacious :(

Can I release my turtles here like give them cuz they are getting too big for the tank and my house is not big enough (urgently need a reply) also its illegal to release turtles in the while so pls suggest a place the turtles can enjoy and have fun and also not get hurt at the same time where the staff actually care about them(urgently need reply). she actually takes care of them and knows that they need space, sunlight, food and proper care to survive among other things, which she provides for them. if i were you, i wouldn't be too worried about the turtles, they're in good hands. won't go in depth about animal cruelty and pet keeping because i had to write about that for english essays all the time.

Surprisingly fun to get up close and feed the giant tortoises! Its a good break frm using ur phone all day long too. Hope ppl will continue to support them 🙏
