The “a little bit of cute ” guy might be trying reverse psychology by purposely saying and emphasising “a little bit of cute”, instead of “very cute”, hoping to get the girl’s attention/curiosity hence getting more engaged with the conversation. But usually this type of play hard to get method only works if you’re good looking. If he is ugly, the girl will just ignore and maybe even block him lol
