7:37 As a not-bro, I dont understand why OP shouldn't pursue the girl. OP met her on tinder, and seems as though he didnt pursue girl with intent to spite/assert dominance over his friend. His relationship was not to cause harm to friend. Furthermore, OP's friend chased her a YEAR ago. Is he so hung up over one girl that he cant let go after so long? A failed attempt just means the girl's not into you, and if one truly loves someone else, should you not wish happiness upon them? If girl you like can find happiness with OP, and OP with girl, should you not be happy for both of them? That both of the people you love are happy? Of course I understand that friend would be upset or disappointed. However, by pushing away the OP, its going to make him feel worse. Agree that OP’s friend did exaggerate the issue, but I also feel like OP could have done a better job at handling the situation. Instead of going for the girl first and then having the friend find out about it, he could’ve had a discussion with his friend before he continued talking to the girl and hopefully come to a mutual understanding first.
