@joshuatran29323 жыл бұрын
What is callsign in SCDF?? - Call sign they use in SCDF terms is in numbers. Normally u will see callsign on top side of each vehicle appliance. For example: - PL 141 This means the first number 1 represent Division in this case is 1st Division. The number 4 in the center represent which fire station are you in sequence. In this case is from 1st division 4 fire station. Jurong Island Fire Station. The last number of the callsign number 1 represent vehicle appliance sequence order.. in this case this Pump Ladder is from Jurong Island Fire Station 1st DO Pump Ladder. Now If u match the first and second number that will give u the fire station number. In this case is read as Stn 14.

Then soon after it change its name to Singapore Fire Service(SFS) as the Hotel new world collapse on the same day where officials make civil defence law on fire safety standards after that all the volunteers of firefighters and other forms of services came to help out in the hotel new world in 1986. After that crisis over, Singapore Fire service change multiple names and finally it was name Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

If you go to Singapore to film fire apparatus. Maybe a fake call to 911 is worth it. I mean good footage is good footage, right?

ya you should never ever do that because a fake call to SCDF (995) or SPF (999) will land u in jail with maximum term of up to 5 years and a maximum fine of up to $20,000 or both :)
