Singapore to Sapporo WITHOUT Flying: Day 95
Well, ear we go…
Tash and I are in Pakse today and the first thing we do is visit the hospital. Tash’s ear has felt wet and fuzzy for several weeks now so we wanted to check whether she had an infection or not. The answer… apparently not. The Doc gave us an all clear and also some saline to help dry Tash’s ear out. Lovely.
This evening we were a bit bored so we decided to walk half an hour to the cinema. We double checked and then triple checked to confirm that the cinema had something in English. We were promised a Thai film with English subtitles and that was more than enough for us. We bought tickets and popcorn, sat down through 20 minutes of adverts aaaaaannddd there were no subtitles. After a few minutes we were already lost and had no idea what was going on. Time to cut our losses and leave. To be fair to the cinema, they did apologise and offered us a refund for our ticket. Silver linings.
That was it for today though and tomorrow we start a new motorbike loop! Stay tuned for that 🏍️
