I am very sure unlawful detainment is illegal and SG Karen is literally incriminating herself by taking a video of her breaking the law... Lastly, she claimed delivery guy did not register before entering the premises. If delivery guy did not register, I am sure the lanyard man [assuming he is the security person] can ask him out? So my conclusion is SGK was probably angry that delivery guy entered through a door she opened and she felt ashamed hence the need to get him into trouble [i.e accuse delivery guy for trespassing] But yeah, we need a conclusion to what happened next!!!!!!!!!

I did that b4 when one of my inconsiderate neighbour 2 flrs above me held on to the lift while chatting with another neighbour on tat floor. she's definitely on the losing side for behaving like this understand that its annoying when opening a door for yourself but others rush in very close from behind, just for the sake of being lazy to open the door themselves or having to call the security through the system for approval to get in. for me, I get annoyed whenever I see there's no one around and pressed the lift button, many one after another start to crowd around, if not when there's someone already waiting for the lift but waits for others to press the lift button for them. deliveryman: one count for getting into the condo without security approval by rushing in when the auntie opens the door for herself to enter not for the delivery man auntie (which majority calls her karen): one count for trapping/blocking a guy in a lift. second count for not wearing the mask properly. third count for damaging condo's property which was the lift. fourth count: disrupting the residences in the condo to use the lift as there's definitely will have someone waiting for the lift but have to wait two to three times longer than usual just to get to the ground floor. fifth count: ordering others to listen to whatever she said. sixth count: disrupting this delivery guy's job, she might affect his customer reviews on him as obviously customer was waiting for their food, as for food delivery, time is precious as it would be in the system and tracked by customer.

Apparently this is a common thing, some condo owners can be very possessive of their gates and dont like strangers to use the door with them! Once I was waiting at the intercom from my friend to let me into her condo but a family approached frm behind me and unlocked the gate so i went inside with them. Afterwards the dad turned around and said who are you, I didnt unlock the door for you. Then he asked me to go outside the gate and proceeds to close it in my face, while giving me a death stare like i m some kind of theif. I mean most condo, u can just walk in from the front without an access card. Seriously even if i was there to steal something, would it have really made a diff that u locked me out of the back door since i can just go by front gate also?? Why must be like this. Glad that at least that guy only gave me a death stare and politely told me to get out, this women is a whole new level.

Okay i think from all the words she tired to say, what happened was: This condo is most likely secured with a residence pass (one where you need a residence card to get through through door to get to the lifts) and she went through the door with her own residence pass. Delivery man did not have residence pass so went with her when she open the door??? And like brushed passed her or etc (from whats shes saying???) I guess she got upset at his "rude" behaviour and was upset how he didnt "registor" (sometimes this can be an actual problem as unauthorised people can use this method to get into condos by waiting for an actual residence to open the door with their card and following them in while the door is open) i guess that was the point the aunty here is trying to say but she did in a very unhelpful way where she blocks the lift (cause she was scared? That the delivery man might be someone who may do something bad) and also shouted or didnt really explain properly in a nicer tone to the actual securities and took matters into her own hand.

god i dealt with a karen at my condo. my family was playing frisbee at the open area within the condo. we may not be professional, but we're not total amateurs either. she freaking started openly recording us, and i got really uncomfortable. like eRMM?? its open area. i stay here. and she tells me she can't play?? she's afraid we'd miraculously throw the damn frisbee into her home?? and like we even offered to move but she said she would still report to the management. but thank god my dad was there. he deadass smiled and waved to the camera, like bruh this dude istg HAHAHAA. i, on the other hand, was terrified as fuck, and i had an anxiety attack after my mom told us that night she shared the video with other people in the condo. and im like terrified because i dont want to be judged in the comforts of the condo i live in. thankfully though, she was the only one who had a problem with it. apparently she has also sent in reports of kids playing badminton and catching. lmao anyways i barely recovered from it. just thinking about it used to affect me a lot, but now i dont feel so much like crap. no one should go through these kinda things tbh. my social anxiety gets really bad so standing up for myself is one of the hardest things to make me do. i hope yalls out there be careful :D

I've entered condos and other people have entered behind me without "registering" or getting access. I've never felt the slightest urge to pull them out of the lift or tell them to get out and come in again. I've also entered behind someone after they gained access, less hassle than dialing the owner when the door is wide open. Seriously don't understand her problem. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ah, shit, this ever happened to me but it's not as worst as this guy. The Karen is definitely a Singaporean judging by her accent and it all unfolded at a hotel I was living in after a vacation. I just finished swimming at a pool and went back up to my room, a woman came in from the 5th floor, she asked me to help her press the 8th floor button in Hokkien, I didn't understand what she said since I don't speak nor understand Hokkien. I just said "sry I don't understand what u were saying" politely and she got super offended at me for not knowing how to speak and she scolded me and kept calling me an idiot and slapped me at my arm and kept angrily pointing at the 8th floor, saying that I'm Chinese and should be learning how to speak Hokkien/Chinese (yes, I look like I'm Chinese but I'm not) and she said I was rude for saying that, I was on my floor and she wouldn't let me go for like 2 minutes or so until someone came in and defended me and just pushed her tf out of the way because the guy also got stuff to do. Idk who that guy was but I didn't thank him that time cuz I just get tf outta there bcz I don't wanna escalate the situation further so...thx that guy who saved me and took one for the team...
