I'm already 20 and I've never been to a club, participate in nightlife or even drink alcohol before. It just doesn't appeal to me .

I was 19. And it wasn't clubbing per se; more of social dancing in Latin music bars.

There's also groups of people who doesn't like clubbing even though just turned legal, so nothing to shame on that, we all hv different preferences. Personally not comfortable with alot of people & loud places.

I only started clubbing at 38 but I didn’t look my age so attracted a lot of younger men. Was good for my ego, esp when I just recently found out my husband cheated. I had just gotten divorced and went “crazy”. Havoc!

I was today years old when i found out there was no law for drinking under 18 only buying :D

Unpopular opinion. House parties at 18 were way crazier than clubbing. I used to say that clubbing felt like squeezing into a pack train during rush hour.

You don't need to go through a clubbing phase.

Really agree.. I went a couple of times when I was 18-20, and I hate the noise and crowdedness. Have skipped clubbing ever since. I totally don't miss it. I wouldn't stop my child from experiencing it but I will discourage her. Same goes for pubbing. Have stopped touching any alcohol since 22. Damn, I really couldn't stand the taste and smell of alcohol even till now.

Is it just me or I find clubbing really boring? Loud noises, and not even songs you can dance to. I'm all up for good vibing songs but edm is just like an out of tune orchestra to me. Maybe I'm weird but how is this even considered fun?

Club is a place where, even if you don't find trouble, trouble finds you. This is especially so if some random strangers nearby get drunk and mistake you for someone else. Stay clear of it if you don't want to get angry.

About the under 18 clubbing events, you don't have to be under 18 to go. They'll give you a different coloured wristband if you're above 18 so you can buy alcohol (for your underage friends).

That massive smoke machine in Zouk's roof is amazing, I'm glad someone remember that too! I had a DJ set there way back in 2005 and the lighting bitch (or someone) triggered that massive smoke machine twice during my 1-hour set. As a DJ, I took it as a massive compliment.

I only go clubbing, if I am getting a treat and not pay anything inside. Even on paydays, If any co workers say we go club I only volunteer to pay for the car gas or taxi, but aside from that, dont ask me to share for the bill

If you are working, tell them you go overtime, or your boss treat your team on a restaurant. But ffs, 24 years old is already way too mature, are your parents want you be a nun or priest?
