Singer Brilliance Threading

New at sewing and got a Singer Brilliance.. Heard many reviews not recommending it but I got it as a Christmas gift from my parents and when I tried it I stumbled upon problems.. Finally with some research I found this and I realized I've threaded my bobbin wrong.. Thank you so much!

Why didn’t you show how to mount the bobbin? That’s a huge step, and the one that keeps making my machine jam!

Thank You So Much! I was struggling with the auto thread portion due to clarity of a previous instructional video. Your zoom in was great! I realized a part of my auto thread piece is damaged.

Dark thread on the white machine would be great, but thank you so much for this video! Not sure why my bobbin doesn't thread smoothly, though. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Just watched the video on threading the Singer Brilliance. I suggest that in other videos you put a dark thread. White thread on a white machine just doesn't have enough contrast to figure out how to thread the machine. Second, I would suggest narration. I have had the machine for several weeks and still cannot use the needle threader. I now plan to go to my nearest Singer outlet and get one of those little wire needle threaders. Would I purchase another Singer? I don't think so.

The idea is you need to watch that video about 10 times.I'm myself just understand how need to do that after 10 times was watch this video.It's too fast,and sometimes you cant see what he is doing.I dont understand why Singer cant make for customers good tutorial in youtube.If many people will watch that video youtube even will them many for that.Did you so manual on paper book? Its absolutely robish,its crap.Never will by anything from singer.

Thank you. But I have one of these that I have had for one year that I am unable to use. I have been sewing for 40 years so I know that I am doing everything correctly but the bobbin constantly bunches up. :(

You can reduce the speed of the video under Settings! I ran it on 0.5 speed and it was a LOT clearer.

Hi, I have a question : when I turn on the machine, there is a short unpleasant noise together with the quick back-and-forth movement of the needle. Is this noise usual when turning on a Singer Brilliance 6180, or should I worry ? Thanks in advance !
