I'm a huge fan of both Dune and Diana, so I absolutely love this performance. With all due respect to the original singer, I say Diana absolutely did it better. Hopefully Hans Zimmer sees this some day and we get to hear her on a future soundtrack!

Diana was magical on this, way better than the original artist! I think that the acoustics in the hall are really good, that might explain the feeling that FX are being used, it doesn’t sound to me like it’s been recorded from the mixing desk direct. Greetings from Scotland! When Diana sings, it is Diana singing. maybe a little reverb because of the sheer size of the venue, but otherwise 100% Diana and her supernatural ethereal voice! She needs no vocal trickery, for sure! 😊 For sheer vocal power and flexibility there is no other singer alive who comes even close to her. I've followed Diana for 7 years now and she still surprises me!

Yep, a little bit of reverb added for that echoey effect, it’s all live though of course. And those vocals…just crazy stuff. Tons of stamina and breath control there and I like how she will end the long notes with that characteristic “break” in the voice. Nice reaction!

Just running across this for the first time. Thank you. The first time I heard Diana, I had so much trouble processing what I was hearing. Have you ever seen those videos where colorblind people wear their color correction glasses for the first time? Many even break down crying. They are seeing things they've never seen before. That was my experience with Diana. I heard sounds I've never heard before. Now, I'm used to it, but I still admire in awe. I love her voice.

you should have watched a different version of the performance, from another concert, there is a better video sequence, in terms of angles, and the sound is generally better. everything is muted here. but both here and there - it was recorded simply on the phone, from the audience.

good reaction video...there are a few of these videos out there , her new website may have all of them , and some from the other side of the hall and her voice in the mix at the end is different. The one that is the center view is the best one.This appears to be a "sound check" with the video taken by cell phone , but this would be more of a "full dress rehearsal" for the larger show (I thought I saw the camera pan bind to empty seats). Hopefully it was produced on video and audio for viewing.
