There were moments when Cece sounded just like her. It reminded me of a tennis match @ Wimbledon. Whitney was serving & Cece was gonna serve it right back double time. The beauty was these ladies were never competing w/each other. Each one respectful of the others gift bound by love & a beautiful friendship. I went to college in Nashville. It was a "normal" that BeBe would be in the downtown YMCA working out...and just SANGIN'! Such a humble dude! That said, I KNOW they loved Whitney, but hated how effortless she made it look.

It just so happened that Cece and her husband Alvin, and their 2 kids were staying right above us. We got to know them, spend lots of time, kids birthdays, etc. Their son ended up coming to my high school a few years later. Great people
