Feel like laughing Yes i agree with you about Walter Afanasieff, i think he wanted to marry Lara, but then he broke up with her, what an idiot! Just yesterday i saw an interview with her from 2009, where she said that other people always left her when she loved very strongly and that she rarely left someone. So now we know why she writes this heartbreaking lyrics so emotional.

She determines what the story needs and with her incredible control delivers down to the phrase and even word. All that to say: she can sound very different in different songs.
