Oh yeah, do more RUSH. You will see what all the buzz is about. Phenomenal band! Some of the very best to ever do it! 3 guys! Just 3 guys and they could flawlessly reproduce their studio sound live in concert every single time! Super clean, super tight, live band. I should know, I saw 18 of their tours over the decades! WOW! They are world famous for this. Check out some of the live videos. Absolutely kick ass band!

Hi Tab :-) This song is from their 1981 album Moving Pictures and is considered their most mainstream from all 19 studio albums. Geddy Lee - Bass, keyboards, foot pedals and vocals. Alex Lifeson - guitar, and Neil Peart a.k.a. The Professor - drums and lyricist. Rush is considered the greatest 3 man band in rock history. I strongly suggest doing Xanadu Exit Stage Left as your next video. It will showcase their talent in concert, but also give you a taste of their diversity in sound and composition. Rush's music continually evolved over their career spanning 40+ years (albums 1974 to 2012), with deep and meaningful lyrics that speak to everyone. If you choose to go down the rabbit hole, you will be amazed at the sound and skill of each world class musician. Cheers~

The name of the singer & bass player & synthesizer is Geddy Lee. He also plays a double necked bass as well. They were & still are the best 3 man band in the world with the sound of a new age orchestra. Watch Xanadu live, that will blow you away to another time & space almost going to another galaxy ☺️

“Tight” and “precise” are two words you often hear in connection with Rush. They are masters of creating complex parts and weaving them together seamlessly. What’s even more amazing it they sound just as good live. Check out Working Man live in Cleveland 2011. They are in their late 50’s here, and you can see how they ended a 3-hour concert - by absolutely shredding. Cheers!

Cool reaction. It's great seeing more and more people giving Rush a listen. Unique band, professional musicians and the first you mentioned at the end was how tight they are. What separates Rush from most bands is their live shows which are as tight as in the studio. Something 99% of bands simply cannot dream of. Cheers.

Welcome to the Rush family! Tom Sawyer was their most popular song. It's not my personal favorite, but the video does a good job of showcasing their talent. They've got a massive catalog, and they kept it fresh by continually evolving their sound. From their earliest days, I recommend "Working Man". From their 70s prog rock period, "2112" is the 20 minute masterpiece that made them legends. For instrumentals, try "YYZ" and La Villa Strangiato. From the 80s: Subdivisions, Limelight, Red Sector A, Mystic Rythms, Time Stand Still, Available Light. From the 90s: Bravado, Ghost of a Chance, Cold Fire, Nobodys Hero, Driven. 2000s: One Little Victory, Ghost Rider, The Wreckers, and the band's swan song: The Garden. Those will give a good overview of their history

“The signer is the bass player too” Yeah, and he is also the synth player, and the bass pedal player.

There was no Def hi or low. I believe in 1981 we was using BATA that was popular before VHS lol. If you notice there was only 3 people playing that rock masterpiece. 😎🤘❤

They've been around forty plus years. Highly recommend Sprit of Radio, YYZ live in Rio and Freewill for some starters... but look out! They are three masters. And you can fall down this rabbithole faster than Alice ever did... great reaction.

Haha! So much fun to see young folks watch old videos. Yeah, we didn’t have HD or widescreen back then. My cable box had a dial, and we rigged it with an index card to get HBO and Showtime for free. 🤣 Keep exploring Rush. They are master musicians and their songs cover a wide range of interesting topics with Neil’s poetic lyrics. Rush fans are dedicated and passionate and will help guide you on your journey.

Hi, another nice reaction from you. Rush have so much interesting music. If you could do Nightwish performing Ghost love score live from Wacken 2013 that would be great. It´s really a lifechanging performance. I would love to see your reaction :)

@@LifewithTab What I mean when I say that is are you actually hearing all the nuances in the music when you talk while the music is playing? because Rush is Progressive and very detailed.
