Woozi wrote/performed "What Kind of Future" live ONLY TWICE because he said it was too personal. However, one of his biggest fans of the song was Moonbin. Moonbin begged Woozi to publish it many, MANY times; yet Woozi said no. Then when Moonbin died, Woozi posted a message to Moonbin, promising to publish it on his birthday as a tribute. True to his promise, Woozi recorded/produced and released it on Moonbin's birthday this past January. I, for one was waiting to see if he would; and he did. Better have Kleenex when you hear it. And better yet, look up Woozi's live performances (two) on KZbin. You can tell by watching him JUST HOW PERSONAL it is to him, and why finally releasing it as a tribute to Moonbin was SUCH a big deal!

If you REALLY want to be impressed with Woozi's music writing, watch Seventeen's 2024 MAMA performance. If you haven't seen "Maestro" (or even if you have), Woozi wrote/produced all of it as a tribute to their 9-10 years performing. He took samples from 7 of their biggest songs and combined them to create a masterpiece that showcases not only HIS musical genius, but the vocals, dance and pure synchronicity for which Seventeen has become famous. They're not called "the Kings of Synchronicity" for nuthin'!! Not to mention self producing. Woozi has produced at least 96% of ALL of their songs (assisted by Bumzu on a LOT), with occasional "guest" producers giving Woozi a break for 4%. Seriously...he may be the shortest member (5'5"), but he's the GIANT when it comes to their songs/music!!!

PLEASE react to "Shohikigen"...but ONLY after watching/reacting to the precursor 2023 Japanese song "IMA - Even If the World Ends Tomorrow". They're TOTALLY connected. And watch "IMA" (which means "now") ALL THE WAY to the end...even through the credits. If you don't, you'll COMPLETELY miss the significance of the MV beginning of "Shohikigen"...which means "expiration date".

The reason it's said that Woozi writes "most" of Seventeen's songs is because the other members write what he doesn't. Woozi has written ALL of their biggest hits totalling 90% of their entire discography, with the members writing the remaining 10%. Yes, the members have been involved in writing lyrics for "some" of the songs Woozi has spearheaded; and their former vocal coach Bumzu (considered the 14th member of Seventeen) has co-written a lot with all of them, especially Woozi. But the genius doesn't have over 190+ copyrighted songs to his name for no reason, with over 300+ songs "in the vault" that haven't been heard yet! It bugs me when I read or hear "Woozi has written 'most' of" their music, when in fact--if it weren't for Woozi--Seventeen wouldn't be the worldwide sensation that they are!! Seventeen owes Woozi EVERYTHING when it comes to their success. PERIOD! Thanks for reacting to "Ruby". The meaning behind the song run deeper than you can imagine! 😊
