By your Request. Here is a detailed video on how to Fix repair or replace your Apollo Bobbin Case on your Singer Sewing machine. I bought a Singer Inspiration model 4228 sewing machine and it worked for a while until I heard a Loud Snap!. After going to the owner's manual there was no information on this subject. So i finally figured out I had a broken Apollo Bobbin Case, don't worry, it's an easy DIY fix. I'm pretty handy and it's not a computer sewing machine so I figured it's something I can replace. I didn't want to spend $100 to have a technician look at it because nowadays anything they look at nowadays is going to cost you a hundred bucks. It's not very hard, even you can do this repair. Thank you! I've watched like 5 videos before this one, and this is the one that helped me finally get it! The bobbin case got knocked loose and it just would not go back into place. I didn't understand how everyone could just put the case back in so easily, cuz they didn't have to unscrew their levers and didnt mention that (mine isnt spring loaded, i thought i just had to shove it in)🤦🏾 Thank you for being very clear about that part 😅

hi..you need to adjust the case play to about 1 mm, by the right plate adjustment screws, or will have this failure again & again.

I have replaced mine and it fits perfectly but the bobbin will not spin still. Is there anything else I could try to see if it works? I can see the bottom rotate when I turn the hand turn but when I put a bobbin it it's like it won't catch.

You may have to adjust your bobbin tension. there is a little screw on the bobbin. There are youtube videos on this subject. thanks for stopping by.

Tried this but my bobbin case holder keeps moving around. Also my machine sometimes catches the stitches and sometimes does not. Not sure if I installed it incorrectly or if I am having other issues with the machine.

Well if it was working before, you shouldn't have a problem. You may have installed it incorrectly.there should be no moving around. It should snap right in. Good luck.
