Although written by the American jazz and rock artist Ricki Lee Jones in 1989, it was covered by Kenny Loggins in 1990 and can be seen on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 1994. But in 1991 Australian singer Daryl Brathwaithe covered it and it went to #1 on the Aussie charts and has since become a popular iconic classic since in Aussie culture. Travis is an established country singer down under for the past decade, and Amy has been professionally singing for more than a decade and is with a sibling pop band named Sheppard, although she just released her first solo country album this past year. They both have lots of KZbin videos to review and they are really good.

This was filmed at Hunting Ground Studios in Moorooka Queensland, while Home Free were in Australia for CMC Rocks in March The song was written by American singer/songwriter Rickie Lee Jones in 1989. Then covered by Australian Singer Daryl Braithwaite in 1991 and reached #1 on the charts in Australia for many years.

When HF released this, expected it to be unfamiliar but recognized it right away. A comment mentioned Kenny Loggins, of whom I was a HUGE fan (saw him in concert a number of times), had a version on a lullaby album. Found it on YT but didn't ring a bell as all I hear, in my head, is the guys with Travis and Amy. So catchy. Lyle, on PatrolNation, had a touching response. Another Aussie reactor burst into song. 😊

Beautiful song! I had never heard it before. Nice to be introduced to 2 Australian singers Travis Collins & Amy Sheppard. Home Free does a great collaboration as always. I felt like everyone added something special to this song including Adam's fabulous vocal percussion. And love seeing the beautiful Australian countryside & animals.

I’d never heard of it either but its very popular in Australia (kind of like Sweet Caroline here). HF was touring in Australia and remade this with the two Aussies. Yeah, Travis and Amy sounded great and Adam was great with the beatboxing. Liked your comparisons too Brad. Good song! 🥰😍

I understand that this song is an Australian standard. Amy, Travis & Home Free sound terrific together - the singing, harmonies, beatboxing & scenery are fantastic. One of the (many) things I love about HF is their active promotion of other singers (such as Texas Hill, Brooke Eden, The Bass Gang, Maggie Baugh, etc.). It's kind, generous & so them.

This just gives you a warm, fuzzy good feeling, huh? Love it! Knowing they were in Australia, and seeing the horses, reminded me of favorite movie from years ago called, The Man From Snowy River. Leading man goes thru hell to round up and save the Brumbies which us what Australians call the wild horses. Besutuful movie! Gorgeous song with these guys! Thank you for your reaction! ❤❤

I found this and watched it and i love this song. I am glad that Austin started this song. Travis and Amy did great with this song. The harmonies are great and Adam's beatboxing is great. Home Free is my favorite group.

Another fun collaboration by Home Free, so glad they added these two Travis and Amy. What beautiful scenery that tied in so well with the lyrics. Home Free never does it half assed, always have every aspect of the presentation melding in unity and ties everything together. Fun project and it is so Home Free!!! Home Free's interpretation for their videos for the vast array of genre they perform is sensational and very entertaining. They have videos that are serious and sincere to funny and hilarious and often catch us the audience discerning that a great amount of thought went into producing to enhance the message in the delivery. They bring an emotional aspect that is fresh and thought provoking each time. They are very intentional and deliver with excellence. They simply don't put out junk, they bring it with a very high end and are very deliberate with their message of their productions. ❣
