She wrote this song at the age of 11. Let that sink in.

And her first language isn’t English as she is a Norwegian, granted, English is a part of school from grade 4 meaning around age 10 - she wrote it at 11, still there’s English around in music, tv shows, movies etc. that’s how I learned English, school didn’t do much for me there, they were lagging - at least it used to be, they probably start earlier now, but what do I know... I think the lyrics are great, her performance is great... she's great as a singer/songwriter... you may not get the style of music, but it should impress you, especially if you've taken your "green medication"... Edit: just agreeing to the posts above.

She admits now that early on her career she didn't realize she was doing the hand motions so they were a bit drastic. She embraces them now, and they are far less out of control.
@jason.s.music.2 жыл бұрын
If anything that makes it more beautiful, she's so in tune with her emotions and how to express them that she just naturally puts the emotions into motion while singing. Makes the entire performance/song feel real and true, almost like she isn't using words but instead just purely speaking in emotion. I'm sure she still has that touch now even if she's toned them to a more controlled notion, but I think my favorite part of this performance is just the true and pure expression of what she feels

This was Aurora's biggest and most important show to date. After her performance, she said in an interview that she almost peed herself because of the excitement. It was a very fun interview. But still typically empathic at the end when she expressed her sympathy to the cameraman for his difficult job. 😁 Interview: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rIvYo59jgb2gj5Y

Hi Brad! I have watched your reactions on Aurora and I was impressed by them.You picked up on so many of the things that I also see from her. She wrote "Runaway" when she was 11 yrs old. To date she has written around 1000 (combination) poems and songs. She writes the majority of her songs herself...lyrics and music. She is very hands on with her videos as well. I know so many people have guided you to her live performances, which are truly remarkable but her videos have been called a "Work of Art". So please don't discount them. Running with the wolves. Queendom, The seed (orange sun backround).... You reacted to all but 1 of her really deep and serious songs. Aurora has fun songs as well....more light hearted. Her interviews can be hysterical. She is a very perceptive, honest, blunt, great sense of humor....she gives her interviewer all of her attention while being totally aware of her surroundings. She seems to be a really fun person to be with. Kind of out there...(my kind of person) and really open. Her shows are so much the same....she is very relaxed, comical and her shows, from I read from fans are fantastic. Since you are a songwriter yourself I think that exploring more of her music would be quite interesting. She really isn't like what we see in this country. She is extremely popular internationally...I think that she may be gaining momentum here. Aurora will always be Aurora. She never intended to be a performer, she just wanted to write songs...her mother told her to try it since 2 record producers approched her after hearing her sing. The 1st song released went viral which was "Running with the Wolves" and "Runaway" went viral as well. She has her hands in pretty much all aspects of her professional life...I think that she could qualify as a musical podigy/genius..... kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYqnnKWAls52qNk Exist for Love ****video kzbin.info/www/bejne/q522pquPit-giLM Queendom *****video kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmHLk5aHbcaIoLc Churchyard …live perform kzbin.info/www/bejne/mX3ZXpunh7-tndE Running with the Wolves**** kzbin.info/www/bejne/lX7GkIKDatSBd5o The Seed ****video (dancing) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmLZe4Ofd56hmtE Everything Matters kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4GVk2OZebt9n7s The woman I am kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnSriaGpmsSXbbs Walking in the air kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3_PZYNmeZZ3oKc Infections of a different kind reaction kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGjbhoOuZs6Jrrc Warduno the band with the man chanting and Aurora stepping in to help fill in a space
