I am a beginner and purchased the 2277 machine last month and is having a bobbin problem with it and can't sew anything. I also purchased a new 44s machine last week from the local Wal-Mart and it was cheaper than the 2277 and I have not used it yet. All the accessories to sew with is already purchased and just waiting to be used by me when the problem with one machine has been solved. Thanks for sharing these videos on operating the 2277 Tradition machine and it has proven useful to me already.

Thank god for you😢 i feel so bad rn. My machine just started to act up like thread constantly getting stuck and the awful sounds she made while sewing. I watched tons of videos about tension, etc when all i needed to do was clean her😫. I bought the oil a while ago but i thought i had a while left before she needed to be cleaned . Now she is sewing smooth again. Im bringing her to get fully cleaned soon❤🥰

Hi, great tutorial thank you! I just purchased this and I’m practicing and the thread is coming out gray from the oil. Is it ok to just wipe it off and that will take care of that?

I did exactly what you did in the video and my sewing machine is broken since then... the bobbin is just keeping jamming all the time...and the bobbin is not picking up the thread... a total disaster...

I had trouble reassembling mine too. I figured out I was placing it the wrong way. Try looking at where she places each part. It will work.

Did you pull and line the thread in the bobbin case before putting it back into the machine?
