My name is Josh. Subtitles:16 languages. It was great to see him really play off the audience and have fun with this. His multiple key changes were crazy! Such a strong voice in any range! It was touching to see his reunion with Kanat (his father) as well. I can't wait to continue my Dimash journey. Thank you for watching my reactions.

Dimash did not choose this song for the contest.This was the desire of the contest organizers.They really wanted to compare Vitas and Dimash, because Vitas was very popular in China for several years. Then the Director of Vitas sued for copyright infringement, and the organizers of the competition had to answer for it.And Dimash is a modest person, he respects all singers and does not like comparisons. I like your reaction, gree

Hi, Dad, I like your reactions and I admire you for your considerations regarding the family. But what impressed me the most and I liked it today, although I love all of Dimash's performances was to see his reaction in full to see his father in the audience. It moved me to tears. Gratitude for posting this image that I had never seen in other reactions and witnessing a true family value so rare nowadays especially when it comes to a star like Dimash who continues to set an example for new generations of how to treat a father / mother / siblings. A most dignified and very high representative of a new humanity, that is why so loved by souls so lacking in art and beauty that Dimash transcends.

I love this performance, Dimash has so much charisma and engages the audience just with subtle gestures...And it melts my heart how close his relationship with his father is. We are truly fortunate to be alive in a time when a new kind of singer is at the beginning of an amazing career and adventure. Dimash is truly a pioneer, demonstrating to us all the many different ways, techniques, dynamics and attention to quality in how to use the voice. I feel blessed and excited about what he does next. A very famous and well respected voice teacher in Russia said Vitas has never sung this piece live , to use her words as best as I can remember, " I wish I could compare two live performances but all the so called live performances by Vitas were either playback or using a special Mic linked to a sound system to do pitch shifting on his live vocals " and at the end of her analysis she said " I really wish this song was never sung by Vitas because I feel like it was written for Dimash and it would've taken his career so many steps ahead very quickly " I thought you should know that , and by the way in the original song the high notes are : ( C6 & C6 ) ( C6 & C6 ) then a key change at the end and goes up to ( C#6 & C#6 ) Here in the Dimash version the high notes are : ( C6 & C6 ) ( C6 & C6 ) then the first key change and goes up to ( C#6 & C#6 ) then the second key change and goes up to ( D6 & D6 ) then the third and final key change and goes up to ( D#6 & D#6 ) or ( Eb6 & Eb6 ) however you name it , it's the same note . Thanks for your honesty man that's why we love you , so many other youtubers would've just acted out like it was their first reaction .

@Don't Be A Hypocrite the Russian lady is a lecturer & author & well respected voice teacher , she said the difference between Dimash and Vitas is that Dimash presents the song as an artist in a musical theater , while Vitas presents the song as a circus act purely for entertainment . I never heard anyone with a more accurate description . His old tricks of moving the MiC can't hide the fact that his mouth shape & tounge placement & Lyrnx position and neck muscles and viens are never matching the sound coming from him , he's definitely a circus clown and he doesn't even try to hide it because his audience only care about entertainment and he makes sure they have a good enough time so Kudos to him for appealing to his audience but he is not an artist not even close .
@kolgerrard1964
@kolgerrard1964 3 жыл бұрын
@Don't Be A Hypocrite you only have to look at Dimash performance to see how his mouth opens wider with every key change but slightly wider every time & how he uses the Mic distance to help him raise and lower the volume while sliding up and down the high notes & clearly see the sound resonance vibrating his skull .

@@riaria3832 I never said you shouldn't love him , the man is appealing to his audience if you love what he does that's your personal preference and if anyone tells you that your own personal preference and taste is wrong , then they are idiots . Do your thing my friend KUDOS to you and the rest of his fans . I personally agree with the lady , I have no interest in a circus act done purely for entertainment , I love Opera 2 always have and always will , what's great is that Dimash voice is different and he changed somethings about the song so I have now 2 versions for one of my favourite songs . ( Please don't tell me about the 2020 different version for Vitas because guess what surprise surprise it was even worse then the older performances , not only did he sing under playback but also digital enhancements on his vocals during the last part of the chorus anyone without even musical knowledge but only good hearing can tell it wasn't his voice ) much love to you my friend .

I like that he was having fun but it was a stupid decision going for something different just for the sake of it , still couldn't even come close to his decision to do a tribute for MJ ?!! I get that he loves MJ but fuck that you're almost at the end and you choose to sing generic pop and in your terrible English instead of playing up what makes you unique and special to the audience, I wish he saved unforgettable day to that moment or he could've sung Kinalama or Opyat Metel. I get mad every time I remember that .

I like his energy in Uptown Funk too! Result in that round wasn't good... doesn't mean he didn't do good job. That's part of design of Singer show; letting unpredictable audiences do judging. Plus, 'when' the artist sings in each round affect result too. There are too many factors in that show, but one thing is certain: all singers in season 2017 were top of the top singers.
@kolgerrard1964
@kolgerrard1964 3 жыл бұрын
@@SaigonGreen062 completely agree with you on everything and about all of them being world class singers but as someone who only watched their performances on the show , Dimash is on another level but it doesn't matter anyway because he said himself before the finale " I've already won " in his interview titled ( I never lose ) And he was right he was the one who gained the most out of it because he gained huge popularity worldwide while the others were all established singers who had their fans before and after the show .

THAT SCENE WITH HIS FATHER IS SO SO TOUCHING. I HAVE NEVER NEVER SEEN SUCH LOVE BETWEEN A FATHER AND SON. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL AND AN ENVIOUS RELATIONSHIP TO SEE THAT DEEP OF A CONNECTION! I JUST LOVE HOW DIMASH WHO IS A GIANT COMPARED TO EVERYONE ELSE IN HIS FAMILY PICKS HIS DAD UP IN THAT EMBRACE!! By the way there is this GREAT interview with his VOICE teacher on KZbin. He said that at one point he was worried because Dimash was "addicted" to Falsetto singing. The teacher was NOT!!! happy about it as it's not academically acceptable and this was some famous music academy that his Grandmother first brought him to at age 5. Dimash was the youngest student ever accepted at age 5. So the teacher made known to Dimash his concern about his "addiction" to Falsetto singing. The teacher laughs as he tells the story that as he approached school each day he could hear Dimash singing loud and at FULL VOICE in Falsetto in the upstairs of the school "but somehow he (Dimash) could ALWAYS sense my arrival, and Dimash would stop just before I entered the school ...silence!....I have always wanted to ask him how he knew I was coming". And so as I listened to this story I thought THIS IS SOMETHING THAT MOST male TRAINING SINGERS DON'T DO, WHICH IS SPEND A HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME DEVELOPING THEIR FALSETTO AND HEAD VOICE RANGE TO BE AS POWERFUL AND STAMINA STRONG AS THEIR CHEST AND MID RANGES.....FROM A YOUNG AGE!!!.....I BET BECAUSE HE TRAINED IT TO BE SO POWERFUL FROM SUCH A YOUNG AGE for such a LARGE part of his daily training THAT IS IN PART, IN ADDITION TO GENETICS, WHY HE CAN DO ALL THIS AMAZING STUFF.....TRAINING SERIOUSLY SINCE 5....HE HAS A FAMOUS DRAWING THAT HE DID AT 4 OF HIM ON STAGE WITH MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS VERY WELL DRAWN BY THE WAY....HE DREW THIS TO SHOW HIS PARENTS WHAT HE WANTED TO DO WITH HIS LIFE!

Thank you for your kind words and thank you for watching. Извини за это. Не уверен, откуда булгарский вопрос. Я думаю, что это было от другого доброго комментария от болгарского. Спасибо за ваши добрые слова и спасибо за просмотр.

@@SingerDadReacts Nothing wrong, Josh💕! It was very interesting for me to read your commentary in Bulgarian🤗! I even understood something! Amazing! Thanks to Dimash, I listen to songs not only in Russian, but also in Chinese, Kazakh, Italian, English, Ukrainian! Dimash brings countries, cultures, peoples closer together! And it's not surprising to get a little confused😁! After all, you have so many subscribers! I am so glad that more and more people from different countries are learning about you🥰! I wish your channel growth and prosperity🙏! And I also wish your subscribers to be smart, intelligent, kind and sincere🙏! I always look forward to your releases!

Thank you for this reaction. And thank you for opening up, and showing your vulnerable side! In a world where everyone is giving their opinion from behind their keyboards I think it's a great and brave thing to do! Thank you also for not only paying attention to Dimash his incredible vocal abilities, but also for him as a human! And a young man needing his father. As a mom this touches my heart every time I see it. Greetings from Holland.

That is what makes Dimash a singular marvel. All his "tricks" have full expression from the lowest notes to his highest whistle tones. Dimash would be a highly successful singer at any of several vocal ranges. He is a stunning result of miraculous genetics, correct training, incredible commitment to work and training and determination to achieve, that in itself is remarkable. Lastly a support group mainly his immediate family that provided direct and indirect support and willingness to sacrifice for others success. Dimash is a once in maybe several lifetimes talent, talent that has been allowed to find it's full expression and we should all thank his family and teachers and a system of government and society for whole-heartedly supporting his talents.

Vitas is really good but definitely not a storyteller, he hit all the beautiful high notes but emotionless. Dimash is a completely different story, he performs with his heart, love, emotion and passion. Thank you Josh for an exceptional reaction! You are so good, genuine!

I so appreciate your professional, respectful and soulful reactions.... the performance itself is not out of the context as most others reactions .... subtleties, impressions of other contestants, the audience as judges...etc. per Dimash’s interviews the humanity is the most important in the life, he loves his family so much! One of his biggest motivations are happy smiles of his parents !!! Btw It is so nice to watch fan’s videos of his rehearsals (that he does not like and allow to do, but they do them anyway....), his arrivals at airports, etc.... in other words paying attention to details is also important to understand and feel the singer and particular performance (some are as a guest, others are from his solo (about 3 hours), sometimes he is sick (as his London’s concert) etc, etc..... thank you so much! Keep it for success!

Hi. His parents are singers too. His mother sings soprano. Very popular traditional singer. His brother is a dombra player. He was brought up by his grannies. He even calls them father and mother. His family is traditional Kazakh family. Live together. Look through the songs written by Igor Krutoy. They are awesome. They are really phenomenal each. He has improved his skills. Love like dream, olimpico, ogni Puerto, Your love is super.
