As someone who has owned the album since it came out (on CD, lol I'm old), I can tell it's definitely live, but only because Scott just does whatever runs and riffs he feels like that day. 😂 It's amazing to me that he can make them fit the song and harmonize the way he does.

100. Plus, at least the shows I went to, Scott is notorious for messing up lyrics 😂
@lauriep20184 ай бұрын
You can tell Scott wrote this because it's right in his sweet spot vocally. That's why his rifts and runs sound so expressive and in tune

Nobody can touch them, they are masters! Mitch, as always, is perfection. I love Misbehavin’ and wish they’d bring it back to the live shows, even more so like the old days when they’d pick people from the audience to join them on stage for this one.
@celiachristman1044 ай бұрын
Loved it when they would pick people, sit on bean bag chairs and sing with the audience members. I agree.

So excited to see this pop up in my notifications. I miss your PTX reactions! Not a complaint - people get busy, some things get blocked, totally understand - so I'll watch old ones to get my "fix" from time to time. I haven't even pressed play yet, just wanted to let you know your PTX/Superfruit reactions bring me joy! 💚💚

You can hear Avi because he studied opera. Opera singers have to project their voices to thousands of seats, over an orchestra, and possibly a chorus, without a microphone. Au naturel. Opera houses usually have good to excellent acoustics, but that is offset to some extent by all those bodies, and the noises even quiet audiences make. So, yeah, Avi's got power!

Avi's bass it's just otherworldly 😍😍

Just another fun fact, they're in a restaurant named "Cracker Barrel". I can't tell if they even have mics. That restaurant chain also sponsored PTX and Dolly Parton singing her song Jolene. They won a Grammy for it. Enjoy.

Wow, how did I miss this one! You’ve found one I have never seen before, and thank you so much for the link to the video. It’s always a treat when you two react to Pentatonix, so keep on digging up these live gems! Peace …

Glad you chose to react to this really great song. Would've loved to have heard you talk about the song, as well as the singing. Hope you will watch their performance of it (on your own time) in Misbehavin' (Live on the Honda Stage at iHeartRadio). You'll REALLY get to hear Avi and get great camera close-ups. More importantly, you'll get to hear the whole song. (Note: "Cracker Barrel" is a VERY popular restaurant throughout the Southern American States. They all have a Country Store within the restaurants, that sell all kinds of things, including CDs.)

You can find a lot of vids of live performances on Radio & TV shows , plus live concerts that shouldn't cause copyright problems for you guys . Can highly recommend 'Love Again' performed in a dressing room before a gig , or ''Starships ' from a radio show , and then there's ' Joyful, Joyful' from the Evergreen tour . Just look up ' Pentatonix live'

I LOVE this song!! I LOVE the lyrics it was co-wtitten by Scott, Kirstin and I think Mitch as well. Scott and Kirstie were dating and this was to assure their partners at the time that while on tour they were not misbehaving 😏
@caitlynjimenez47734 ай бұрын
Sorry, but that's not right. It was written by Scott and Mitch, and it was about Scott missing his partner at the time. Not about anything with Kirstie..
@Bonofox14 ай бұрын
@@caitlynjimenez4773" I KNOW" that Scott was dating Alexander at the time, I think Kirstie was dating someone that is why I couldn't remember if Kirstie was involved in the writing of the song, mitch wasn't dating but I knew he was involved in the writing of it

Thanks so much for this guys! Not seen it before....but...I think this was the song (or one of them) that they did with a cast of other singers for the TV show Bones. Scott and Mitch played two suspects in the show and they were a part of an a capella group. There's a video of all the parts from the show that the two were actually in. That was an awesome live piece! They're soo good!!

No, Misbehavin' was an original on their self-titled album of originals, written by Scott and Mitch and some co-writers. I believe it was dedicated to Scott's then-boyfriend. On Bones, the guys sang Chandelier x Midnight and one other oldie I'd have to look up because it's slipping my mind.

Hey Guys, I love your reactions to Pentatonix. You should check out some of Scott’s recent solo stuff ( Rose without the thornes, Mars, …). If you still have problems with Copyright with that songs , I would love to recommend a german band called AnnenMayKantereit (you defently know some of their stuff) Danke, dass ihr immer wieder versucht, diese Reaktionen für uns hochgeladen zu bekommen 😅

This is one of my favorite songs in that album, I recommend Light In The Hallway so you can get an Avi overdose!! I would also love to see you react to The Prayer because I'm pretty sure you didn't watch it but I'm not sure there's a live version. But any Pentatonix reaction is great coming from you guys!!

Lol, bass is a classically trained opera bass. The singers are all a little light on the voice, for the beatboxer. Not fair, but true.
