Adam's beatboxing is second to none. He just drives this song and so many others. Incredibly good. His drum sounds are so realistic.

Welcome back guys! The funny thing is, is that the guys asked for a clip of fans from all over the world dancing, but they never told them what the song was. But....they just fit so perfectly in this case. Chances move in the beginning I think was a 007 move. BTW- they do sing this live in concert, so if Marco is still planning on going to therir concert this fall, he'll be able to see them do this song live. Thanks guys!
@GrandmasGoneGamingLW6 жыл бұрын
The dancers in the video were all clips sent in by Patrons. We were asked to send clips of us "dancing to upbeat music." I should have thought of chair-dancing! I could have done that! LOL This is the song they are currently using as an encore if/when (ha...only WHEN) they are rooted back on stage at the end of the performance. It's so great, because not only do they get to cut loose, the whole crowd gets in on it. It's so much fun, and you just wish it could go on forever! ;-) Loved your reaction, as always. Thanks! :-)

Chance had sunglasses on for two reasons. 1. It fit the time period vibe. 2. He was REALLY hungover when they shot this video.
@scarymarysunshine91556 жыл бұрын
They were his GF sunglasses because she was wearing them in "Good Ol' Boy Goodtime".

ScaryMary Sunshine They could belong to either of them, doesn't really matter. The question was why was he wearing them. That is what I answered.

How do you know he had a hangover? I’ve seen him on videos stating he gets migraines. Perhaps it was subsiding prior to the video and he was still sensitive to the lights, or it was just for the video.

Since you probably don't realize, their moves are remineciant of the 70's. This is all a capella. No instruments at all.

This song was very popular in the '70's and was played on the TV show Soul Train all the time. Their "Home Free" font is that same font that was popular in that era -- clever! (btw not that I was there; just a student of music and music history!)

The O'Jays are from my hometown, Canton Ohio, and are also from my Alma Mater. The biggest thrill of my life was when I got to sing on the O'Jays stage as a warm up act a few hours before they performed downtown for the Pro Football Hall of Fame concert.
@mittalinemankinscott52876 жыл бұрын
Julie Ann How exciting! Thank you for sharing! 😃 This song is also from my generation of music, & love how HF honors it by singing it the way it's supposed to be sung, not adding a bunch of vocal gymnastics, etc. Shows what quality artists they are for certain!
@JulieAnn022619906 жыл бұрын
I agree. I think they really show respect for all the artists they cover. They're about 15 years older than me, but I remember when this was a hit on the radio because it was a big deal for our small town. I had a lot of older siblings and friends that knew them. I've seen Home Free in concert, they're even better live than the recordings. The seats shake when Tim hits the really low notes.
@mittalinemankinscott52876 жыл бұрын
Julie Ann, I'm hoping to see them in person some day as well if they ever make it back to Oregon! Such an incredibly talented group of folks! I just found a few videos on Adam's page of the original members. It was fun to see the difference & progress they've made! I always think of "I feel the Earth, Move, Under my Seat..." (instead of feet) when I hear comments like that, lol. Tim definitely fits that description if ya know what I mean, lol
@michellejolly35116 жыл бұрын
The added fan videos, they put out a call for people dancing to love train. They got a lot more than they thought they would. Did you notice the Brazil flag behind the boy dancing, the British flags the ladies were waving, and the German flags behind the 4 laddies? The fans were from all over the world.

Glad you are back, I was thinking about you and hoping everything was ok . I like hearing the repeats if it's a good video and you like it, you're just letting us know that you like it, and I like your critiques as to what you like about them and what you thought was good and what your opinions on improvement would be. I mean that's why we are here. Glad you checked this one out, they put some of their Home Fry patrons in it that sent in videos, which I think is a cool thing to do. Wish I was in it.

Chance's glasses are Sami's from Good Ol Boy Good Time, I think. The song is fun, but the messaging especially right now, good choice. And the poor, sweet boys, if you notice when they try to make a train, their rhythm together, still couldn't do it, which just had me grinning. Good to remember songs like these.
@annemayseyfried89076 жыл бұрын
Morgan Cian Their rhythm's fine, their dance moves, tho, lol!😊
@morgancian6 жыл бұрын
That was what I going for, their dance moves together is so fun. I love Blue Ain't Your Color, but just the tiniest glitches in such a choreographed video, is just a part of their charm.
@annemayseyfried89076 жыл бұрын
Morgan Cian They can't be incredible singers, songwriters, arrangers, multi-instrumentalists, be very tall, kind, funny, w/good hair, best-looking band AND dance well, too, can they, lol!😊

I like that they just dance anyways, like they just don't care. They are just being themselves and don't care if people laugh, and that makes it a better video too I think. 🙂

Watch it again and keep an eye out for the German flag guys. The ladies made an appearance 3 times! I watch for them every time this video comes on! They took fan videos from all over the world when making this one and I love that concept. Towards the end there are a couple of youngsters with televisions behind them. If you look closely you can see that Home Free videos are playing... I can't remember if you fellows reacted to Everything Will be Okay. If not, please do. I'll have to go look it up and if you have, watch it again. Thank you! ^_^

Adam kept that Train going through this entire video, and they were doing it LIVE before they made the video and it is awesome live! And Tim hitting those amazing low notes, and Chase doing his donk-a donk-a donk-a throughout. AND the harmony, AND the dancing (hilarious, y'all) AND the HIGH note at the end that sounds like a train whistle. I KNEW y'all would love it.
@timamyett96793 жыл бұрын
The percussion ....without it and that thumping bass the train would never leave the station. Like so many other songs ya'll do the vocal are always as good as or not better than the originals.
@guypithecusthe1st4536 жыл бұрын
Not all of the sounds are from Adam; Chance does this "donk" sound that I first noticed in "Can't Stop The Feeling". It really adds an instrument background sound to the song. Also I noticed for the first time the large group of dancers raised their arms in rhythm to the "hey, hey, hey" in the song. I wonder if the dancers choreographed it or if the video editor arranged the video to match the dance. ... Guy

When the song started, Adam, Tim, and Chance were doing background sounds which gave it a much fuller sound. I loved this version of this song. Great reaction as always. I really enjoy watching both of you when they make a song their own style. Chance was also doing the 007 look in the beginning, so the glasses fit that little dance move perfect. Hi guys, I loved how much that Chance was dancing. He doesn't move around as much as the others, and watching him really enjoy himself was fabulous for me. I have to say that you 2, who had already said, " I don't think I'm gonna like it because it's not my thing", were really enjoying yourselves as well. You are worried about repeating yourselves as well. Were people really complaining about that, so you feel the need to stop yourselves? Gee, I hope not! Your opinions and reactions are why we watch you!!!!!!!! Say it each and every time. "I love the harmonies. I love Adam's beatboxing. Austin, Tim, Rob and Chance we're spectacular. They are so much fun to watch.................". And so on! I certainly enjoy the truth. I love that you grew out your beard again, Marco. Thanx, Mindy

Love this video, such a fun song! But I agree -- my request to you is still I Can't Outrun You (you will love it) plus Hunter Hayes Medley (it was the video that made me fall in love with them). Love how your perception of the song changed from one you did not care for to one you enjoyed! FYI -- you did hear that they will be in Germany this fall, right? You need to go if you can.........NOTHING compares to seeing them live! Oh, and the scene in the video where Austin is running across the stage "high fiving" the audience is from a live show when they are actually singing this song!
