Both of these libraries look like they have a lot of Bang for the Buck. I appreciate you clarifying that it was 29 US dollars. (Several countries, including mine, call their currency Dollars). You explained at the end that you were in a temporary set up, which was good. Because with you wearing a black jersey, and having a black backdrop, it almost looked as if your face was floating in space. A little comical! Cheers, and thank you for another interesting, informative run-down.

Hi Craig, yes! The Original series libraries are really good value for the money. Glad you appreciated it. I had a little inconvenience with mother nature in my studio (water, lot's of rain water and some problems with the building). That is now fixed -- and I'm finally back in my studio. You just can't imagine how happy I am :D

Thank you for this video. I bought both of these libraries a few days ago, and it was so helpful to play along with you as you demonstrated the controls and options! These are amazing libraries!

I have nearly all of the Originals libraries because they’re a great value for price with a reasonably broad variety of instruments. The low cost makes the Originals library a great place to begin. However, on the downside, sample libraries are a bit like ‘crack’ in that you begin to chase a lot of reviewed libraries. However, it can feed a very fulfilling pursuit, no matter the level you’re at. Wonderful review, Samuel! Thanks so much!

I have the EpicStrings and I stopped working it since there some round robin samples with artefact that are really disturbing to me when you are programming an ostinato.

I haven't had any issues... strange. Can you give me a specifics on a patch and/or note where the RR are inconsistent/have artefacts?

@@SamuFL Select the Short Ostinato patch and play a serie of Bb1 (in the cello range). You have 4 round robins notes. Every 4 notes one sound like a dog barking (a weird sound). And it was the note I needed. So I was a bit disapointed. Also on Bb2, one of the 4 notes has a stronger attack. If It was allowed to reduce the number of round robin, then I fink it would be a very good library. Then, let's get honnest, for a beginner, it's excellent. I've been lucky enough to by other libraries from Spitfire (the complete Abbey Road One, BBC SO Pro, Studio Orchestra Pro, Albion One and more recently the Symphony Orchestra which is awesome. So I don't use Epic Strings anymore.
