@@aryankarthik5378 Hey Aryan, u of waterloo for undergrad is definately competitive, but it depends on program. But, it is totally worth it because of their huge co-op program. Make sure which ever program you are selecting for u of waterloo, it has co-op. For growth and learning, it is excellent university. Fees is on higer end. But, again with co-ops and scholorships, I think it would be managable.

I'm pretty sure Waterloo outranks all other Canadian universities in number of graduates working at top tech companies. Waterloo is well known in Silicon Valley and has been recognized as the 4th largest feeder school to Facebook. If you want a job after graduation, Waterloo should be your top choice. For research, choose UofT. For nice views, choose UBC. Highest salary for a software co-op at Waterloo is around $50,000 USD for the semester (living expenses subsidized as bonus to this) or $84 USD per hour. This salary is at the highest tier for co-ops, along with anything else north of $70 USD per hour.

Waterloo is a good school for computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, and math. Science and Law are not programs Waterloo should be chosen for. Check out the following programs: CS, CS/BBA, SE, CFM, AFM, Engineering (anything), Math/CPA, Math (and majors).

Engineering 5 is not connected to Engineering 7 and both are separate buildings on the University of Waterloo campus and Engineering 7 is the newest Engineering building on there University campus, and E7 was open in 2017 or 2018 year.

Bhai it's abosolutely false that the location of Waterloo, kitchener, is not preferred by students. It is the start-up hub of Canada. Many companies like blackberry are based in Kitchener. For STEM students Waterloo degree is a gem.

Canada is best for international students. Low fees, earnings while study minimum wage is 14$/hour. Easy PR after study for students and there is also possible PR for parents.
