The lyrics themselves, tell the emotional story . Rod Stewart of course tells the heartbreaking story before singing it at concerts .I genuinely don’t think anyone fully understands what the Irish people went through in those times . Having songs like this , hopefully helps us appreciate those who sadly died for their beliefs.
