I have been to Venice and did a Gondola ride. Did you know that, that career to be a driver is only permitted to certain families and they do not let outsiders drive the gondolas? You have an amazing, beautiful voice! Thank you for sharing it with us!!!

I love this! My sister traveled all the way to Venice with her husband paid for the gondola ride, thinking she was going to get the full experience and the “Captain” didn’t say a thing except for yelling out something in Italian to another gondola captain. Thank you for posting this. They should be ashamed that they weren’t singing to you. You are amazing!

My mother studied opera at the Juilliard School of Music. We went to Italy when I was 13 and of course, Mom had to sing at all the right spots. I remember her singing O Mio Babbino Caro on the Ponte Vecchio and everyone applauded!

Ahahah ! You sang a Napoletan theme in Venise ! There Is some competition between the two cities . As an italian I appreciate becouse Venise Is in Italy of course but a Venezian don't . Venetian Repubblica was another state with a millenial history so a Napoletan Song Is not the right dress . Sing o sole mio in Naples and you'll have applause and smiles .

@@rscaht Ha, ha, ha...there are nice and rude people in every country. I had a lovely time in Venice. I could not believe a place like that exist on earth - just breathtaking! I also love Firenze. People were very friendly. The only time I felt people were rude was at the Milan airport. Other than that, I really thought about living in Italy for the rest of my life. That's my dream!
