I hope you guys will reaction So Hyang You raise me up. This performance is so special to us as her fans because she has pneumonia and she went to stage from hospital. I think you know she is cancer survivor since she was 20. After she recovered cancer she had pneumonia 7-8 times.

And Sohyang has a permanent case of hepatitis B from a bad blood transfusion during her cancer surgery, which is what brings on her bouts with pneumonia. But God watches out for her and are we ever glad He does! Sohyang is the best female singer of our times and that isn't even debatable. As she admits herself, her voice is a gift from God. 😎💘👌

If I seem to gush, that's because I am a more than avid fan. This is one of her great stage performances. You may have already learned this, but she is a cancer survivor at 20, an author of four books and an artist who does exquisite drawings and water colors, a songwriter, a lecturer on music and voice at University, and she directs the musical arrangements, plus the chorus, orchestra, costumes, and lighting for her stage performances. On another take, I would love to hear non Korean speakers/singers sing Korean songs along with their technique or training. I think a lot of people forget that Sohyang and even Forestella are not singing in their first language and still master it beautifully. English and Korean are so different, why do you think there's such a heavy accent when Koreans speak in English unless they learn from an early age or loved outside of Korea.
