Now she is an example of class and dignity and how everyone should be. You deserved to make it and I'm so glad you did. You're an example for everyone. We love you Patti!

This is why she deserve to be in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. She is in a class of women that created a specific sound of music that influenced Rock and Roll. Check the history. No blueprints to be followed . They were creating sounds and styles that influenced Elvis, Rolling Stones, Elton John and others.

I so agree; you can't stop being who you know yourself to be (internally) because of who your opposition is. The core of your being depends on it. Style and grace is what you aspire to no matter what others throw your way. Keep pushin' people!!! 😘

What a Remarkable Human Being. I just watched the interview. Dan... as usual, asked meaningful questions. I've paid some attention to Patti through the year's. I had NO idea, her journeys were so challenging & somehow she came out the other side remaining such a beautiful, spiritual person. She mentioned "I can't complain" Yes she could, although... She's well beyond that. Incredible Lady!!!

Patti's voice, when I was 5 yrs old, picked me..I didnt pick it (that was right before "Nightbirds" blew up). And whenever I see her on tv, I dont think about all that it took for her to become a household name. I think about those years, when she didnt have a record deal. Mind you, that didnt last long...but I say that, because it was during those few years that Patti would come thru DC (my hometown) and she could STILL sell out, 2 or 3 nights at the Warner Theater or Constitution Hall or the Kennedy Center. Her legend, starts with that voice...there was nothing like it. She has cooled her jets..and like any of the great ones, time has stolen some firepower from her chops. But going to see her now, is like going to see a monument or statue...you know that she's not what she used to be. But you're still blessed to be in the presence of REAL greatness.

Thank God for the music of Motown which helped start a sea change in race relations. I grew up not knowing anyone who was racially prejudiced. I never understood why skin color was any more significant than hair or eye color. But I Ioved Motown, Louie Armstrong and other black artists and white artists who learned from them.

Some white people have a lot to answer for, I’m a White British guy and I’m disgusted by the historical and current racial abuse going on, it’s not necessary. I love you Miss Pattie xx

This made me smile thank you Patti for sharing this. I'm a Christian and I love Jesus People please think about what Patti is saying because it is true. You have to forgive or God will not forgive you. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior never give up God loves you so much. Please if you are having a hard time go to Jesus because Jesus is waiting for you. Pray God answers prayer it maybe yes, no, or wait. If someone is rude to you give them a kind word and ask if you may help them with something always be loving never show hate. Go and smile at someone this smile could open up to new possibilities. You never know what someone is going through. I smiled at someone and the person looked at me asking me why are you smiling at me. My response is because I have Jesus in my heart. In about 10 minutes later the same person came back to me told me I wish I could be like you to be able to smile plus be happy. I told them you can and ask them if they wanted to go to Church with me sometime. The response was I can't get there well I can pick you up you know well let me think about it. I gave my number out I believe in case they wanted to chat later on or go to Church with me. Thank you for reading God Bless you and your family

You know please it maybe hard just walk away if the person is rude to you. You can try to say something nice first if they keep on maybe the person is having a bad day. This is my advice to you hope you are having a great day or night. You seem like a nice person people are people I get it. You seem like a cool person.

If you swing at someone because of something they say to you, you’re only giving them power. Why give someone else control over your own actions? Why let someone dictate what you will do?
