This is very moving, it's a big moment in Yago's life you can tell he's really grateful for it. I know because I was in that same position. @@miguellaruku2725 yo man can you tell you tell me how , I’m a baritone and I’m trying my best to sing Bruno mars songs but my vocal range isn’t going to d5s in chest voice. I’m currently reaching B4/C5 as the highest in chest but not able to hold the note constantly without pushing my voice .
@lexsoft39692 ай бұрын
As a baritone, I thought, I could only go up to G4 with chest voice, like in the song "Release Me" by Engelbert Humperdinck. Then I tried to sing "Delilah" by Tom Jones in which the highest note is A4 that occurs at the end part of the song. I was surprised that I managed to hit that A4 note. I thought it was a breakthrough for me. I was glad that I tried to sing other songs with higher notes. I found that in some songs I could hit B4 quite comfortably, but still really struggled at C5, although I managed to hit the note in songs like "We Are The Champions" by Queen with full effort.

@philmoufarrege3 жыл бұрын
I don't advise trying to go down the route of twang, the problems you're talking about are exactly what usually tends to happen when people attempt to learn it. You need to learn how to sing in a solid, strong and very clear chest voice. The process of building this can not be listed in a simple text post.

May I ask what causes a vocal break around the A4-A#4 area? I can hit these notes but it sometimes depends on how much phlegm I have during the day. I'm unsure if it's just phlegm or it's something to do with the second passaggio. I believe my actual break is around G4 but I managed to smoothen that area. I'm a male.
@philmoufarrege2 жыл бұрын
The A4 area is the 2nd bridge area so it's a common area for males to break again there. But really, a break can occur at any note depending on the extent of the strength of the voice. Meaning, as your voice is strengthened with the right technique the breaks go away and you can just take the chest voice up without a break, even beyond C5.

@@philmoufarrege I don't even know someone who can sing with mixed voice irl and I can't afford a vocal coach. I am REALLY WILLING to master my voice, like really .I have been doing daily exercises that last for like an hour or two. I know it may exhaust my voice , but I really want that mix. I can do fast riffs , vibrato and high falsetto notes like a ringing Bb5. I can even enhance overtones in my voice whenever I want to. I can do all of that .... but at what cost ? I can't even sing an E4 without straining the hell out of my throat.
@philmoufarrege Жыл бұрын
Totally understand. Being stuck around that E4 was my story too for many years. What I'm seeing here though is the following: - you've tried to figure it out on your own and you're hitting a wall - the main thing stopping you from seeking out guidance from a capable mentor is finances. So it's clear to me that the real obstacle here is you need to find a way to financially be able to invest in moving forward. You'll either need to get a job or if you already have one, focus on finding other jobs that may pay better. This is really the thing standing in your way. If you can figure it out without investing then that's great but the reality is there are people out there who know how to do things you want to do and are further along the journey who you can learn off and get where you want to be. In the meantime I've got a few videos that may help you: - this video has important preparatory work that you need to build up to the E4-F4: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4LaZqyapZh6d68 - these next 2 are important for moving beyond: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIjNk5ejfdKUbtU kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZLTp6SdpKx5bpo Hopefully that gets you going in the right direction a little bit.

@@philmoufarrege thanks a lot , I will check them out ASAP Well the thing is if I have the money to afford a vocal coach I won't do that. Hey man before my puberty I used to have the most high pitched voice compared to any guy in my age but after puberty I started developing a deep voice around F2 currently with down talking . Is this the reason I can’t sing any notes constantly on the 4th higher octave without tensing my throat. But I can actually reach C#5 with my chest voice. Am I a tenor ??

It's not uncommon for people training with me to reach notes in a short amount of time, however there is a lot more that goes into really making this usable in songs and that takes more training and work - that's why I told him in the video "we are just getting started".
