Recording the traditions of communities is very important - especially getting the information first hand from members of the communities. It was a pleasure to meet Amone Watmon Matthew and record his as part of the Singing Wells project!

Watching the interview took me right back to the Airport Guesthouse Entebbe where this was recorded - it was our last day of the 2012 field visit in Uganda. A happy day because we knew we'd captured some very special musical moments on that trip. Sad though as the Singing Wells team had to disband and go our separate ways. We'll be back to Uganda soon (Nov '13) for more Singing Wells recordings....watch this space!
