@@TheSpreadOffense no coach.. I am a former wide wr, now getting into coaching. I one day want to be a offensive coordinator, and future head coach... I am trying to learn the o-line, and the trenches.. I would love/appreciate any suggestions/websites/books, you may have, or know of that will help? Thank you coach

Hey coach do you have a pdf of how you run power and all the calls for the OL ?
@TheSpreadOffense4 жыл бұрын
Hey coach, I don't have a PDF on power, but if you watch the videos in this play list, I talk about the different ways I run power and some terminology for it. I hope that helps! If you're looking for something specific just let me know.

How you created a video on running power read against an odd front or 3-3 stack?

Haven’t created that one yet but I can show some different ways of blocking it

Could you run a back side Slant on wideout since the LB is squeezing?
@TheSpreadOffense4 жыл бұрын
I don't like the backside slant because WR's tend to run past the open window when the LB is triggered on the mesh. They get too far down field and sometimes cover themselves up as they start running to coverage. I like the spot route because it forces the WR's to spot up in the open grass/window.

How would you run this out of 11 personal?
@TheSpreadOffense3 жыл бұрын
11p I would add the TE as a sniffer. I would deuce the DT with the PST & PSG with the TE kicking out the DE. The BSG would wrap pull around the deuce for the PSLB. Still read the backside LB even with the deuce working for him.

Do you still call it power...and expect your lineman to know it’s out of 10 personnel..so block it different than normal power with a FB/HB?
@TheSpreadOffense3 жыл бұрын
Good question and no we don't call it power. We give it a different name that way our OL know that this is in 10P as opposed to the traditional power.
