Jadson , surfing next level . Miss him on tour , definately one of my fav surfers , humble , tears the bag , and seems like a great human . That bottom turn at the start of his section is burned into my memory . Yew .

Just came back from a week on thulusdhoo. Surfed chickens on a 7'2" single fin all day. Soooo much fun❤ smooth gliding lines

Seeing Jadson styling it out here just highlights how limiting and narrow minded modern competition surfing is. For me, this is so much more enjoyable to watch, free from trying to tick the boxes their personality and flare is free to shine and I bet they're enjoying it way more too!

I’m guessing they are heavily modified new school single fins.. ridden a few old ones and u definitely can’t throw them around like that.. either way, Jadson was tearing the bag!!

Actually it wasn’t modified at all! I just made that board based on the outline that i used to shape to one of the best brazilian surfers from the 80’s, Cauli Rodrigues! Turned out it worked pretty well to Jaddy too🙌🏻🤙🏻

I'm always amazed how people look at old single fins like they are relics.i have seen some of the best surfing from those that knew how to surf riding single fins.i still own some and they still work amazing

@@bonsummers2657 Yeah! He refused to ride a twin fin at that time, just changing the single fin to a thruster when it became popular. He always told me that with a twin fin he couldn´t go so vertical as he used to go riding a single fin.
