I love that you and Arrow's father continue to prioritize her. The fact that you both value what is healthiest for her over the challenges of your relationship. Even though you co-parent you are still technically a "single mom." I think people misconstrue that concept to mean that a single mom is doing everything alone all of the time. It's a trade-off that doesn't feel "fair". We try to be intentional about recognizing each other's contributions to our family and making sure we each get alone time.

My parents divorced when I was three. I am now 36. To this day my parents and step parents hang out and go to dinners together. Now, as a parent, I am in awe of how my parents were able to put parenting as top priority no matter what. Coparenting is a super power. 💖

Oh babe I felt the same way when my marriage ended. We had one son together and I was so sad and angry in thinking that I was robbed of the opportunity to have another baby because I wasn’t sure I was ever going to. But of course that wasn’t true. I now have a 21 month old daughter with my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years after so much heartache. It will happen. You are such a kind soul and good mom, just be open and trust the timing.

My friend growing up had divorced parents that were really good friends. They would always greet eachother with a hug and do dinners/holidays together and I know that is a difficult thing to do for sure but I always thought they were so cool for that

Dearest Brittany and all singlemothers out there!! I have been singlemom for two kids. My childrens father betrayed me with another woman for whole year without me knowing it. She was pregnant,when I found out. I was 25 then,all by myself,without family support or anything,with 3years old boy and 5year old girl. Beeing singlemom IS HARD!! I respect everyone of you,because we sacrifice SO MUCH to have better life to our kids. I didn't think that I could be ever marrief,didn't think I was good enough etc..my mental state was so low. I'm so glad that you Brittany bring this up,it's SO IMPORTANT!! My kids are adults now and they have been thanking me over and over again,for being present,to play and laugh with them etc. They have called me superwoman 😭😭🥺❤ My point is this: everyone of you is superwoman,you give so much and you don't hesitate anything to protect your kids. As a product of co parenting… my parents had issues. But always kept them away from me and we did everything together. All my birthdays, always together. Holidays, we always spent some part of the holidays together as a family. We did school events together. We would go out to dinner together at least once a week, sometimes more. I saw the healthy version of co parenting. My dad would still go around my moms family without my mom, just me and him. And then my mom would go around my dads family without him, just her and me. Co Parenting is hard, but finding a way to be parents together, through the good and bad and not putting Arrow in the middle, is the best way to co parent. You’re doing great. Keep it up!!

Being a mom that suffers with mental health has been the biggest struggle of my life. I love my kiddos so much and they come first but yet no matter how much you love you’re kids, spouse, life, overall situation…. Stuffing with mental health doesn’t ever just go away no matter how amazing your life can be in every aspect. It’s the fact that you can’t just turn it off and not worry or not replay every moment of the day, good or bad. We’ve got this! The best thing to ever happen is to find out I’m not the only one who suffers with mental health and that it’s going to be okay! ❤️

After I had my daughter I realized I needed to make my mental health a priority. I was in a really dark place dealing with depression I had before I had a baby and then on top of that I got PPD and PPA. I'm now in therapy and on meds that have helped me so much. I think it's super important to have someone you can confined in, like a therapist. I knew I needed help so I could be the best mom I could be for my daughter. Therapy has been a blessing I didn't know I needed. I honestly thought if I ignored it, It would go away, it didn't. Hearing other moms talk about mental health is so refreshing and it makes me feel less alone. Thank you. :)

I'm sure you get lonely, I've been with my partner for 11 years & have never felt so alone in my adult life. I think it's so human to feel unsure about the future when things arent guaranteed, I've felt that way on my fertility journey. While we are so grateful for what we do have, it's ok to want more too. I have watched your channel since you were first pregnant with Arrow and to see you now is so inspiring. I am a new mom myself and I just ended my relationship with my baby’s father and it has been difficult navigating through it, but your videos are informational and also very inspiring and helpful. I aspire to create a coparenting relationship such as your with my child’s father because I grew up in a situation with my parents divorced and they never got along. I was compelled to comment. The talk- I feel it so deeply. I was engaged to my 14 month old little girl's father and I recently called off the wedding 2 months before. I feel these same feelings you are having also. Especially being 34 and wanting to be a mom again, but I don't know if that will happen for me. Thank you for sharing this and everything about dating... it helps me feel like I am not the only one. Much love!!

I get thinking that having another child feels so far away. I felt that way too and it made me so sad.. But now my first baby is almost ten and I have a newborn daughter and step kids too! Life changes so quickly ❤️

This video was really sweet and definitely appreciated in all of its rawness. I appreciate your willingness and strength to share your experience with all of us. I can connect with this in a multitude of ways. I am not a single mom, but I did 100% singularly care for my child for his first year of life....alone. It was such a learning curve for me in the sense of who I am, who I want to be for myself as myself, but more importantly for my child; as a mom. The struggle is real, but that's okay in my book. The growth that comes from it is bitter sweet and I would surely do it all over again for my child. You touched my heart when describing your love for your daughter. Keep on doing what you're doing love. You're doing an amazing job and will only learn more and more :) Much love to all
