Hi Matt, Couple things to consider when working with that type of material. Recommended Set Up: -Fine Feed Dog (#272153) or Rubber Feed Dog (#149057RU-LINKO) -Small Needle Hole Plate (#147158LG/W) -Needle Size 10 ~ 12 (Sharp Point) (#NGB-16X257 #10 RG(SHARP) Using the Regular Feed Dog is okay but you might have some material damage if the pressure of the presser foot is too strong or the feed dog timing is off or damaged. I'll post the adjustments for the feed dogs on next weeks video

Thanks for your informative videos. I have Juki DDL5550 with medium weight set up. Could I change it for more heavy material such as jeans by changing needle plate and feed dog?? I would appreciate if you can help me! Thanks

Yes there is a heavy set up you can change to (heavy feed dog, heavy plate, heavy foot) Make sure your needle and hook timing matches the bigger size needle you plan to use (there is video on hook timing you can review)
