To change language, follow the instructions below: Power on, Push M, Select # 1 (memory settings), Select #1 (Display All), Then look for U406 and change to desired language. This machine can sew elastic fabrics -Less presser foot pressure -Less Tension on top and bobbin case -Feed dog stroke (A or S) -Lower Feed dog if needed The Juki smart solution app is only compatible with android devices with the NFC function. If you have an industrial singer sewing machine and it sits in a bed of oil then you will not have to oil. There is a pump on the bottom that will lubricate the machine. Keep in mind that you have to run the machine a little faster every now and then to make sure the pump is able to circulate the oil. Best time to do this is when you're winding bobbins. Hope this helps!

How do I change the factory setting of maximum straight stitch length from 2.5. To. 5.0? Do I have to buy a USB with extra settings? I bought the Juki 2290cf-7 in June 2024.

@shirleycade9680 hi Shirley 👋 You may have the operator view mode set which doesn't show you the stitch length option. Make sure the Lock 🔐 icon is unlocked on the top right of the screen first. Then push the "M" button and "i" button together to alternate from operator view mode to maintenance mode.

@KZbinrkit7 not the best for leather. Light leathers possible with teflon foot and plate. Recommended machines for leather: FROM LIGHTEST TO HEAVIEST. DU-1181 (Light to medium leathers and upholstery) Cheaper Dnu-1541s Light to heavy leathers Max thread I recommend is T138 bonded. Can go thicker thread but I advise capping it at T138 Slightly cheaper than DDL-9000C LU-1508NS Heavy leather sewing machine Price is a bit more than the DDL-9000C but excellent choice for leathers. Call my shop if you want to talk in more detail.

Awesome video thank you. One question though. Please excuse my lack of proper terminology as I'm new to using sewing machines. I had a needle break off into the hook. I removed it and cleared the blockage. What is the position of the inner basket in comparison to the outer basket? Thank you again for the videos and the help. Don't know if it matters but I have a Cobra Class 17. Looks almost identical but want to make sure.

If the bobbin is a side load then you will have a finger that keeps the inner basket notch around the 12 o clock position. You can move the finger slightly to the back and front. When you bring the needle down you want the finger notch to be a little to the back. So match the needle to the center of the finger notch and then slightly move the finger to the back and 1 mm. So the needle will be a little more to the front side of the finger notch. Not sure on the cobra 17 specifics but this will work generally on all machines of this class. Good Luck!

We have SWF/B type 6 head sewing machine. Left side (3 heads) sew in mirror and % wise smaller texts, but it is not set to be like that. Configuration on both sides is the same. Problem started after device was turned on. Before everything was working fine. Can you please give some tips what to check or what to do?

You can still use size 11 needle for 2mm but 12 would be a balanced size for using both. If you go bigger, you have to make sure the needle plate stitch tongue is the heavier type but the size 12 will be good for you.

When you put the regular feed dog on, you want the bottom of the teeth to be flush with the top of the plate.

Hi, thank you for the video :) Tried it. During this test the bobbin falls halfway out of the bobbin case. In this video didn't see that happening. So maybe there is something wrong with my bobbin case or bobbin? (Having problems with my thread tension - for an inch stitch looks perfect, but then on the bottom side upper thread comes out for a few times, after that stitch looks good and so on...)
