F4 Master Experience
Experience day at Brands Hatch driving both a BMW M4 and Formula 4 car. It's the return of the shaky camera glasses unfortunately, as the cars didn't have GoPro mounts and GoPro mounts on the helmet was banned. It was a really good experience, although as expected there was probably too many people on track, meaning I only got 1 clear lap... some people didn't even get that, but I'd still recommend it if you want to try a couple of cars around a decent circuit!

Im very competitive in go karting but only in rentals sadly but I’m trying to find a way into car racing but I’ve not got a clue how to do it without spending lots and lots of money and without having any connections. Do you recon this could be a way to get my name out there and to prove myself?

Unfortunately, no. This is more for ordinary people and not like a proper racers step. Get into a race league somewhere then maybe can look at a junior formula if of that age or a formula ford to start off

Are they rev limited? What is the top speed that you can get up to? How many gears can you use? Looks fun but a bit congested

These cars are rev limited as they are pretty neat bits of kit. Theyd hit about 100mph, but tbh it was the corners where they were so light and nimble that it made up for the fact that you were rev limited (BMW M4s that we drove earlier in the day were about 110mph and still pulling!). we could use all 6 gears, advised to only use 4-6 but i found myself in 3rd a bit. Yeah it is a bit congested, but its one of the best things money can buy at that price. If you want a clear track you're going to be spending a lot more!

@@ALISDAIR26 appreciate the response. I've drive formula ford manual but would love to try this with the paddle shift. Shame it's only at brands its far for me but sure it would be worth it :-)

you;re only allowed to overtake in certain places otherwise you have to stick behind the slower people until one of those places

Its rev limited to around 100 and there are only some places you’re allowed to overtake so its not really his fault hahah
